My daughter has truly enjoyed her time at Bellamy Apartments. From the very beginning, the move-in process was smooth and stress-free. The property is always clean and well-maintained, and the amenities are fantastic. What stands out the most is the friendly and welcoming staff. They have always been kind, helpful, and responsive, which has given me great peace of mind as a parent. Knowing she is living in a safe, comfortable environment with such a supportive team makes it much easier to leave my girl away from home. I would highly recommend Bellamy Apartments to students and parents alike!

Avoid this place. I’ve been visiting a friend at Bellamy Apartments for a while, and the way management treats residents (and the local animals) is honestly pathetic. It’s hilarious (in a bad way) that this complex has the budget to renovate their entire clubhouse to look "high-end," but they can’t find the decency to let a few stray cats be fed. My friends actually tried to help keep the stray situation organized and tidy by contributing their own property to the feeding station near the mailboxes. Earlier today, two staff members with name tags were seen hovering around the area, and shortly after, everything was gone. No notice, no email to the residents, and no chance for people to retrieve their personal belongings. They literally just treated resident property like trash. If you’re looking for a place that cares about community or even basic communication, look elsewhere. Bellamy would rather have a shiny new clubhouse than a management team with an ounce of compassion or respect for resident property. If they really cared about the community, Bellamy would create a feeding station and help care for the cats, like Magnolia Parks Apartments. Try them instead.

Living at Bellamy has been a great experience. The community is welcoming, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. Kerry, the Property Manager, is usually busy, but she always takes the time to assist residents and does her best to make sure everything is taken care of. I also love how kind everyone is to my dog and they have treats for him. The employees hard work and dedication are truly appreciated.

I have issues with packages getting to me fully intact or getting to me at all, especially as we are moving closer to the end of the year. However, the property manager spoke to me and explained that this is an issue that she feels very bad about but is something that falls on the people delivering the packages. Amazon workers have all the tools needed to make sure all the tenants get our packages but as the school year is closing in, they seem to have gotten lazier. The manager explained she would contact who she felt necessary to explain to them that they are not doing their job to the best of their abilities. I appreciate her caring and reaching out to me personally.

I am very glad I will not be renewing my lease at Bellamy Milledgeville. My experience here has been disappointing for a number of reasons, but one of the biggest issues has been management and communication. Anytime I needed help or had questions, it often felt like I was bothering the office staff. Phone calls were frequently met with attitude rather than assistance, and when concerns were raised about lease terms and payments, it was difficult to get clear answers. There seemed to be confusion surrounding the information we were being given, and the staff was not helpful in resolving those concerns. Last week, a staff member even hung up on us during the conversation, which was extremely unprofessional and rude. Maintenance was originally presented as an included service, but later we received an email stating that we could be charged if management believed we caused the damage. Because of that, I became hesitant to submit maintenance requests out of fear of being billed. The amenities have also been a constant frustration. In the fall, both the gym and leasing office were closed for renovations. Then the pool was closed from February until May for what was described as a simple repainting project. It remained closed but untouched most of the time. This was right as the weather began to get warm. Then we were told it would reopen by May 5, but it remained closed for another week without residents being informed of the delay. As a result, people would go out to the pool expecting it to be open and were then told to leave, which left many residents confused and frustrated. Safety is another area where the reality did not match what was advertised. The property promotes gated access, but the gate seems to be broken every other week and is usually just left open. For the past several weeks there was a sinkhole near the entrance, and rather than seeing what appeared to be a permanent repair, it was simply filled with gravel while the “This Is Not an Exit” gate by Building 1 remained open at all times. It’s hard to feel like security is being taken seriously when this is the reality. While we did receive several emails about break-ins and reminders to stay aware, the gate still did not seem to be a priority. What makes these issues even more frustrating is that rent continues to increase because of “renovations” that were mostly cosmetic. New appliances, countertops, and fresh paint were added, but it was still the same Bellamy I had toured before. When I moved in, the quality of the work was underwhelming. There was construction dust throughout the apartment, and it had not been properly cleaned. For something they are raising rent over, there should not be multiple areas with obvious imperfections, such as nails and wall repairs that were simply painted over instead of properly fixed. To be fair, the package lockers were one improvement that genuinely benefited residents. They made it much easier to receive packages without having to go through the office. Before the lockers were installed, there were multiple occasions when packages were difficult to locate, residents were told items had not arrived, or deliveries were left outside in the rain and damaged. The lockers provided clear delivery notifications and secure storage, which helped eliminate many of those issues. Ironically, the most successful improvement during my time here was one that reduced the need to interact with the office altogether. Overall, I feel like there was a lack of transparency, poor communication, inconsistent management, and amenities that often did not match what residents were paying for. Living here was far more frustrating than it should have been, and I would not recommend Bellamy Milledgeville based on my experience.
