The Standard at Coral Gables, miami-fl

My daughter lives at the Standard her first year at UM and it was the perfect experience for her. The amenities and service were incredible. Sammy, Alyssa and Oscar in the leasing office were so accommodating. Can’t thank the team enough for all the support.

Alyssa seriously helped me out so much. I’m currently in New York for the summer and was stressing about leaving my apartment unattended for a while, and she was kind enough to go check everything for me and make sure everything looked okay. She checked that the lights were off, things were unplugged, the balcony door was closed, bathroom/trash was fine, etc. Literally everything I asked her to check. She was super sweet, patient, and genuinely helpful the entire time. It honestly made me feel way less anxious being away knowing someone actually cared enough to help me out like that. You can tell she really cares about the residents here. Thank you again Alyssa, I seriously appreciate it more than you know!

I lived at The Standard at Coral Gables for a full year as a nursing student and absolutely genuinely enjoyed my experience. The staff were consistently kind, supportive, and professional. What really stood out was how personal everything felt. They knew residents by name and made an effort to build real connections rather than treating you like just another tenant. I also appreciated the frequent check-ins to make sure everything was going well and that residents were taken care of. Overall, it felt like a community, not just an apartment building, and I’m very grateful for the experience.

The staff hired at the front desk are not professionals. They overcharged me amounts that were not pertinent to the contract. Other residents, including the ones who I shared a unit with, said the same happened to them. When I tried to bring the overcharge to the staff’s attention they acted defensively and told me I should leave the building. Another time an unknown woman showed up at my apartment and entered the unit. She was not staff. When I tried to resolve the overcharge and other incidents , my account was blocked from logging in without prior communication.

I’m an Irish exchange student studying in the U and my flatmate is also an exchange student from the UK. She came to Miami for viewings before we moved here and The Standard took first place by a mile!! After looking at all the popular student living buildings nearby/ in Coral Gables, she concluded that The Standard was “just that level up”. Since moving here it’s been an absolute breeze and lovely place to live. The staff at the desk such as Gianna, Sophia, Justin and Matius have made us feel so at home and so welcomed. There is also the loveliest security man each evening who watches everyone entering and leaving the building and keeps us safe :)The 24hour gym and the pool area have made it so easy to make friends from the building too! I’ve made some friends for life and living here will always be a huge part of my life story I will always cherish!!
