I would give zero stars if I could! EXTREMELY unprofessional and constantly making excuses. I loved living here my first year but this new management makes it impossible to want to stay my second year. The previous occupants of my unit had cats and damaged the couches, chairs, and carpet. Their resolution was to patch pieces of carpet together. For rent to be $1,215 that’s absolutely unacceptable and cheap. It looks a mess and carpet is still ripped up. The couches are ripped so horribly and the bottom is even ripped out! They told me 3 days ago they would get maintenance up to replace them on that day and now it’s “August 12” to get my new furniture. Again, for it to be so expensive, why am I paying to have dirty and damaged couches until everyone else moves in when I paid $500 to do a direct transfer. My unit should’ve been ready prior to move in. I can’t sit in my living room that I paid to have because I have damaged items and paid EXTRA to have early. Secondly, they are so unorganized it makes no sense. They are giving residents the wrong keys to move into rooms they weren’t assigned. Then when the person refuses to switch rooms, they decide they’re going to switch roommates that have nothing to do with the situation. It’s a preference. Not a choice to choose your room. They make empty promises to guests about which room they can have and it’s tiring. Third, there was a rat running the hallways and slipping under the door to residents apartments and they released nothing to us saying there was a rat here or to be careful. The rat ate my friend’s carpet, groceries, and other things in her unit and also defecated everywhere. They basically gaslit her to think there wasn’t a rat when she saw it after coming home from a night out at 1:30am on her counter. They said they would reimburse her but yet she still hasn’t received that reimbursement. Save your time and money. It’s sad because I loved it here and enjoyed my time. Don’t live here because I definitely won’t be renewing.

I would not recommend this apartment complex based on my experience with management and communication. Unless those aren't things you care about. Before move-out, I contacted the general manager multiple times, starting about a week before my daughter's initial lease ended to let them know that the paint on one of the walls was extremely fragile and peeled like paper. I explained that if I was expected to repair it, I would need the correct paint color. I followed up three times before move-out and again afterward. I never received a response. Instead, I was charged $150 for the wall damage that I had tried to address proactively. The leasing office told me they couldn't help and that only the general manager could, yet Morgan never gave that to me. I've repeatedly called and emailed both the leasing office and the general manager. It's incredibly frustrating to deal with an office that is so difficult to reach, especially when you're trying to resolve problems they created. The lack of communication, accountability, and organization has made this a very disappointing experience. My next step is to take off work and drive over an hour in hopes someone is there because their business hours mean nothing.

I toured The Indy and honestly loved it! The staff was super friendly and made everything easy to understand, and the apartments looked really modern and clean. It definitely feels like a fun but still chill place to live as a student near KSU.

I love the Indy so much! I have lived here for almost a year, and I have had nothing but good experiences! The front office staff is so helpful and super sweet! I love the pool area and my room! My experience has been filled with so much joy and excitement! So happy and glad I resigned for next year!

Suckered in by the model plan. Utterly disappointing and frustrating move in experience for my two children today. I'd give " -1 " star if I could. Poor maintenance, cleaning and painting of bedrooms between renters, zero accountability by management, management does not do what they said. We were told during the tour that the rooms are cleaned and painted between renters; however, the bathrooms were filthy (one had black SLUDGE in the toilet before I reactively flushed it in horror after opening the lid so I only took the after pic) and the very old, needs replacing carpet in the bedrooms were filthy, with very noticeable large dark black dirt stains on a medium brown carpet and the carpet was threadbare in places with exposed points of metal at the door transitions, the walls were not even remotely freshly painted and even the spot painting they came and did 4 hours after we complained was terrible and incomplete. Nothing at all felt fresh or clean about the room. Also, they don't hold the previous tenants accountable for cleaning the common areas before new people move in so there was a ton of dried food, dirt, lint, etc ALL OVER THE COMMON AREA FLOORS. The ceiling was water stained, the vents were dirty, the tubs need to be refaced (for a 5 year old building, this means the tubs were probably poor quality to start with), the previous tenants stuff was still in the cabinets. Just completely distasteful. Charging students regular apartment prices but not providing a clean space to move into, but they'll undoubtedly charge you a cleaning fee if you leave room private area or the common area dirty when you move. And just pocket the cleaning fee they charge, but don't clean. A bunch of trash in bags was also left in the room by the previous tenants. Zero feeling that they'll actually do anything about this when they couldn't even spot paint in full. It took 3 hours to clean the rooms and common areas the following day. All in all, I would not recommend The Indy and I'll be looking for somewhere else for my two children after this lease is over.
