Dwell The Towers on State, madison-wi

If you don’t want to live with garbage, never choose this apartment. This is a week’s worth of accumulated trash, and if you’re “lucky” enough to live next to the garbage room, you’ll see a pile of trash every time you step outside. You can even smell the garbage in the living room. After several complaints to the front desk, someone finally came to clean up on the same day—but that was Thursday. Now it’s Saturday night, and no one has come to clear the trash again. The garbage is piling up at the door once more. As I’m writing this review, I can smell the garbage coming from the heating fan while sitting on my couch, so I had no choice but to turn the fan off. I’ve been living in this apartment for almost a year and a half, and this situation happens frequently, only worsening over time. My room has already had a lot of ants, and I’ve had to buy insect repellents myself to deal with it. I’ve never been late in paying rent and management fees each month, yet the basic service of “daily garbage collection” is always delayed. The apartment management team doesn’t seem to care; they only come to clean after repeated reminders. Other issues, such as outdated facilities needing frequent repairs and lost packages, I can tolerate. But the basic necessity of daily garbage removal, rather than leaving it to pile up in the hallway for days affecting neighboring residents, is truly unbearable.

I would say that the average person here will probably get a 3 star experience but it seems like there’s quite a few dishonest people posting 5 star reviews. There are a lot of long winded and critical 1 star reviews that seem accurate and I can relate to in my experience. You’re paying a lot for the location at the Towers and as soon as I could leave, I did. I found a place legitimately twice as nice with only an extra 3min walk to everywhere important for the same price and I recommend others to live this better life.

I just moved out of here and it was a great year! I really enjoyed my time here. Thanks to Chichi for helping me find my apartment, Bridget for always being there when I needed help, and Troy for being a super cool property manager! I would highly recommend living here. You will be handled with care here, I promise. I'm gonna miss my apartment, friends I've made along the way, cool themed events that the staff plans, the staff themselves and snacks! Thanks for everything!

I hardly know where to begin. The repairs are moving at a crawl. On the day I moved in, the window was cracked, the air-conditioner was broken, and the faucet has been dripping non-stop. I submitted maintenance requests right away and have spoken to the office every single day, yet I almost never see a technician. Weeks have passed, and not one issue has been fixed. I honestly don’t know how I’ll survive the winter in these conditions.

Such a great location for a really fair price. Right on state street, near most academic buildings which is something you can't beat. Becky is an amazing staff member who is willing to help with anything you need! Highly reccommend towers.
