Living at Carlton House has been such a great experience! The staff has always been friendly, welcoming, and quick to help whenever I’ve had a question or needed assistance. The apartments are well maintained, and the location is perfect for Texas Tech students since it’s close to campus and everything you need in Lubbock. The community is quiet, and the amenities make it a comfortable place to live. I also want to give a shoutout to Bella for being so kind, professional, and helpful throughout my experience. She always goes above and beyond to make residents feel valued and taken care of. If you’re looking for student housing in Lubbock, I’d definitely recommend Carlton House!

i recently toured The Carleton House with my niece, and I was genuinely impressed. Amaris gave us the tour, and I highly recommend asking for her if you visit. Unlike some of the other places we toured, she wasn’t pushy or trying to pressure us. She was friendly, easygoing, knowledgeable, and made the experience enjoyable from start to finish. The community itself is beautiful, clean, and has an upscale feel. It’s in a great location that’s conveniently close to campus and offers everything we were looking for. Most importantly, I feel safe with my niece living here, which gave us a lot of peace of mind.

She takes the time to explain everything thoroughly and truly cares about helping people find the right place. From everything I’ve seen and heard, The Carlton House offers beautiful apartments with great amenities. Having someone like Amaris on the leasing team makes the experience even better because she goes above and beyond to make people feel welcomed and valued. Beware! This place will fee you to death and horrible customer service. We moved in and the place was filthy, my wife spent an entire day cleaning it! My son stayed there for 3 years! And we left it better than we found it and yet still they're trying to charge us $200 for a parking sticker we didn't turn in. We only paid $55 for parking per month. My son had his windshield replaced in Houston it's not like we gave the sticker away 🙄 We called them and explained that we were moving on a weekend, since they were closed we needed to know what to do. Today we were notified that we're being charged $200 for a parking sticker because we didn't turn it in even though we asked them what do since we lived 8 hours away and all they told us was to leave the key in the room. We called and spoke to Brooke the assistant mgr today and she told us tough luck. We asked to speak to the actual manager and were told that she's to busy to talk to us because she was showing apartments and basically that past loyal tenants who spent gobs of money already don't matter. My wife should be credited with cleaning up your damn messes for you! $200 for a sticker is asinine. I could even see $50 but $200? Come on.

Over the last three years living at this apartment complex, I’ve watched the “luxury” standard steadily decline under current management. When I first moved here, I genuinely recommended this place to others because it was well-kept and enjoyable to live in. Unfortunately, that hasn’t been the case for quite some time. The hallways and elevators are frequently dirty, often covered in mystery substances, with dog waste and even used condoms left sitting around for days. It seems like these areas are only properly cleaned when upper management or property inspections are expected. I will say the maintenance team, does the best they can to keep up with the endless issues around the property. However, there are constant problems with the parking garage gates, random speed bumps that are constantly need repairs, and other ongoing maintenance concerns that never seem fully resolved. For the amount of rent residents pay, the amenities are extremely disappointing. The gym is one of the worst apartment gyms I’ve seen, and it’s rare for the hot tub to actually be functioning. On top of that, there are visible cracks throughout the walls from a foundation that clearly never settled properly. I could go on, but overall this property no longer reflects the “luxury” living experience it advertises, and the cost simply does not match the quality residents receive.
