Edge Merrimack River, lowell-ma

The staff of the EDGE is very accommodating and responsive to needs and Questions of renters. The rooms are very clean and are well taken care of. All of the appliances are up-to-date and well maintained.

As a international PhD Student from Chile who moved in September 2024 to Lowell, Massachusetts, for the first time, I highly recommend the Edge Merrimack River apartments, not just for its greats facilities, quietness (excellent to study and rest), optimal location near by UMass East Campus (5 minutes walk) and the Lowell's historical downtown, and the amenities like free high-speed wifi, in-house gym, common spaces to chill-out, in apartment wash and dryer, and the list goes on. Along with these, the kindness of the administration teams people, lead by mr. Bryan Parents, is something really makes the differences. From the first moment when I called to ask about the availability of apartments, and during the whole process to applying and finally renting, always were willing to help me and facilitate the process. This person-centered service spirit is something that I did not found in other places and was a great welcoming to Edge Merrimack River and to Lowell.

Nice apartments! But, you could definitely find better even for a better price. Here are just a few minor problems I ran into: That staff definitely makes lots of mistakes, which is fine, we all do. They may put your package in a place where it definitely shouldn’t be, lock the doors to the package room for an entire day, magically make your key fob lose access to the front door, let a homeless man loiter and smoke cigarettes in the hallways/gym, or unnecessarily send a tow truck to your car after an extremely short period of time has passed (i.e. the amount of time it would take you to move your belongings in which doesn’t even make sense cause how else could you move your stuff in). If you are fine with these things, have at it, but I would not recommend. This place is riddled with inconveniences. It’s Too expensive for what it’s worth. I could not name 5 good things about this place. The building is soulless and the hallways are empty. Staying here has been such an unfortunate regret of mine.

I’ve had a great experience with Edge Merrimack! The team in the office is always so helpful, responsive, and kind. It really makes a difference knowing you have such a supportive staff. Thank you to everyone in the office for all that you do!

If there was ever a go to person to choose from at Edge Merrimack River Apts it would be Juliette. My son was entering his first year at college in Sept. and there was so much confusion what to do. Juliette was the kindest, sweetest and most patient person. She took us every step of the way from how to choose an apartment, the paperwork, insurance etc. Whenever I have a question, she is always there quickly and professionally to answer. She has a huge heart and truly the best!!! We love her!!!
