If I could give this place negative stars I would. My daughter had a miserable experience at the province. Management changed nearly five times in the span of a year, but the attitudes stayed the same. If we brought up an issue with management, they would shoo us away and tell us to email them, which, when we did, they NEVER DID ANYTHING. Her apartment smelled like cigarettes the entire year and nothing helped, and we brought this to management and of course they did nothing. They also charged us extra for insurance when we already had our own plan so we told them to cancel the insurance and they never did. This place is ran by snobby lazy people who want to make money the easy way by making families lives miserable. I’m so glad we don’t have to deal with these people again. Good luck if you’re moving in this year, you will definitely need it.

My daughter has resided at The Prov for the past 3 years. During that 3 years it has been nothing but problems. The management staff if beyond rude and not helpful and often times condescending. She has walked into the office and the managers are yelling at each other. When an issue is brought to their attention they do everything they can to sweep it under the carpet. The apartments are in need of updates, the couch, when she moved in has scratches from a cat all over it. It had an odd smell, and the dryer vent needed to desperately cleaned. The dryer gave off a weird smell. When reported to the office they said there was nothing they could do about the couch, the odd smell was "normal" and that she would need to clean the whole dryer vent. When management staff does their job and puts in a maintenance request maintenance is quick and friendly. The maintenance staff is the best part of this place.

Do not rent here. I lived here this past year and it was horrible. The walkways to the rooms are DISGUSTING and filled with trash or geese crap. If you live near the pond, be prepared for bugs and frogs in your apartment. I found BOTH of these animals in my apartment and maintenance just laughed when I let them know. Took weeks to get them to spray for bugs. My boyfriend also lives here in a different part of the complex and his ac did not work for over 2 months. We called once or twice weekly and they brought a portable AC after one month of broken AC. Keep in mind this was during the heat wave this summer and it was 97 degrees outside. They JUST NOW fixed the air.

I haven’t written a single Google review in my entire life but this one is much needed. Please do not rent here!!! Or anywhere else that Greystar may be in charge of. One month into living here the pipes above our apartment busted due to a maintenance man that THEY HIRED making a mistake. All of my stuff got ruined, and we were forced to move to a hotel for a few nights. They promised they would reimburse me and never did. Then I moved into a single unit because that’s all they had left and somehow had me paying double renters insurance after insuring me that this wasn’t the case. Place is distrusting, maintenance sucks, but the worst part of it all is the people who sit behind the desk in the leasing office. Thank you UofL for taking over this community you’re doing your future students a huge favor. Hopefully you guys will do better at responding to emails and sticking to your word.

Do not EVER live here. Management staff are extremely rude and inconsiderate, almost as if they have never worked in customer service before. I have lived here for the past two years, and until GreyStar took over, it was completely fine. This past year has been a nightmare, with my entire AC unit going out during a snowstorm and nobody coming to fix it for three weeks after my original maintenance request, over four maintenance requests to get a simple drawer fixed, and my medication packages being lost. Each week that passes, another reason arises for me to be grateful that I am leaving this apartment complex at the end of this summer.
