⭐☆☆☆☆ — Far Below What It Promises for What It Charges I have lived at The Gentry for only three months, and during that short time I have experienced multiple issues that I find unacceptable for a community charging rents well above the average for Louisville and Kentucky. I have had several packages marked as delivered that never reached me, highlighting a serious lack of security and accountability. The pool, one of the main reasons I chose this property, has frequently been affected by disturbances and restrictions resulting from management’s inability to properly control and manage the area. In a state where the summer season is relatively short, it is unfair that residents who follow the rules are unable to enjoy an amenity they are paying for. Even basic services advertised as part of the community experience, such as the coffee and tea station, rarely have coffee pods available, reflecting a consistent lack of attention to resident needs and the upkeep of advertised amenities. Most concerning is the parking lot security. In just a few months, multiple incidents of vandalism have been reported, including broken windows, shattered glass, and damaged vehicle mirrors, without clear explanations to residents or visible corrective measures to prevent future occurrences. The issue is not any single incident—it is a pattern. There is a significant gap between what The Gentry charges and what it actually delivers. When residents pay premium rental rates, it is reasonable to expect functional amenities, basic security, and proactive management. My experience has been the opposite. For that reason, I cannot recommend this community to anyone seeking a fair balance between cost, quality, and peace of mind.

I really enjoyed my time at the Belltower. From the move-in until the move out. It was definitely peaceful and the staff was really nice. Also, the maintenance requests were fixed relatively quickly as well too. Only thing I didn’t like was my neighbor upstairs was very noisy. Other than that, I would definitely recommend people staying here. I will definitely miss staying here as it was my first big girl apartment and I feel like I made the right choice when I had moved here last year

Place is really nice. Staff were helpful during check in. We were fine up until we have upstairs neighbors move in and they have no consideration regarding noises. This apartment has quiet hours but staff cannot enforce it except for telling us to call signal security which seems to do nothing. Eventually one of the staff gave us sarcasm and lazy respond about the issue "its gonna happen if we don't live on the top floor" we pay 2k a month and they cannot enforce their own rules. Surrounding area is full of dog poop and trash. Breaking the lease is also difficult because suddenly there are 100 pages worth of information that we've never seen or known about upon signing. If youre looking for pay for expensive apartment thinking it's going to be a nice place. Think again. update: thank you for the response by the management but I don't believe talking will do anything for us. our neighbors seem to understand that there will be no repercussion for any rule breaking. It's been more loud and continuous than ever.

I really love my apartment! The community is pretty quiet with no issues. Valet trash is convenient. The leasing office is always nice & helpful, especially Lumey. Moving in was a really quick & easy process. I’ve been here a few months now & have had no issues. My only con is that there is never any visitor parking available because it is so limited. If you are a person that likes to have anyone over, this probably isn’t a good option for you. I’ve had to send my visitors home due to parking.

So far, I’ve had such a great experience at Belltower Apartments! Brittany was amazing with getting me moved in and settled — she made everything so easy and welcoming, even checking in with me on her day off (hope she enjoyed it!). Lumey was also super helpful, showing me around the community, my mailbox, the gym, and the pool area. The apartment itself is cute, cozy, and perfect for me and my girls. It’s quiet, peaceful, and really starting to feel like home. We’re loving it here already — thank you to the Belltower team for making our move-in so smooth and positive! 💛
