Since the beginning of August, we have been asking the landlord to address a termite infestation. After countless emails and calls, they still refuse to provide even the most basic information. Every week it’s the same hollow promise — “early next week” — and yet no action, no schedule, no notice. Worse, they refuse to disclose what chemicals will be used and just never respond to our questions. Tenants have every right to know what is being sprayed inside their homes. Instead, we are left in the dark, forced to guess whether it will be safe for people with respiratory conditions and small children. This level of disregard is appalling. It is reckless to dismiss such basic health concerns, especially when vulnerable residents are involved. To make matters worse, they leased a room in the very suite with the infestation, almost certainly without disclosing the issue. That is not just negligence — it is deceitful and predatory. This company has shown a pattern of arrogance and outright contempt for tenant safety. It is insulting, it is exploitative, and it is shameful. Do better.
