I was a postdoc at Keck and I lived in a shared unit with other roommates, most of whom were professionals with advanced degrees. The building is really new with washer/dryer in unit and central AC, which were two amenities that were highly important to me. There's a nice 24 hour access gym downstairs that I used regularly for their cardio machines (probably too small to work out in though they do have a few machines and free weights). Overall, you do pay a slight premium for the quality and accessibility to Keck as there are probably cheaper options in the surrounding neighborhood; it's up to you if you think it's worth it. Also, FYI I lived in phase I and on the top floor so noise from the train or the floor above was not an issue for me, but I would take that into consideration.

I lived here for 2 years. Although its location is closer to campus, which seems to be the only benefit of living here, here are a few notes to be mindful of when you decide to sign a lease with them: 1. A number of people, including me, are charged a $45 fee for the same reason after moving out, even with a move-out walkthrough. 2. You basically have to drive at least 20 minutes for a single trip to go everywhere except going to Keck. If you don't have a car, be ready to Uber a lot. 3. The parking is through USC, whose rate is increasing every year. When I got here in 2024, it was around $500 a semester. Now it's approaching $600. 4. The lease is 11.5 months, not 12 months. You are paying a full month of rent with a half month of housing in July if you are not renewing it. 5. You will share the same water bill with all others. It gets high once in a while.

I have lived at Currie hall for the past two years and it has been an immensely positive experience. Everything from the new utilities to the gym has been wonderful. A special thanks to Theo who has been truly wonderful in assisting me with any questions and concerns that I have had. He is the best and if you have anything you need he is your guy. Truly inspirational and he epitomizes dedication and top notch customer service.

Currie Hall has decided that they care more about your MONEY than the actual needs of the tenant. I have been dealing with constant issues for the past year that is point blank unacceptable for a fairly new complex. The closet rack in my unit collapsed more than a WEEK ago and nothing has been done. I’ve had to miss class and my internship due to injury from the closet rack collapsing on my neck and my back. The rack was installed with inappropriate screws (Code Violation) and there are SEVERAL CODE VIOLATIONS in my unit alone. The broken closet rack has YET to be removed from my unit and ZERO temporary solutions have been made possible by Currie. They have taken ZERO accountability for what has been going on. On top of the closet. My sink is STILL detached. My fridge has yet to be FIXED and so many other things that have occurred. Err on the side of caution when moving here. Their practices are PREDATORY. They can BREAK their OWN lease terms but you as the tenant have to continuously pay.

Theo gave us a thorough tour and overview of Curry Hall. Theo spoke highly of Curry Hall and the school. Theo was very knowledgeable, personable, and helpful. Curry Hall is impressive.
