GENUINELY THE WORST HOUSING COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH. Stuho’s treatment of students is completely unacceptable. Their financial office specifically, is ABSOLUTELY INCOMPETENT, disorganized, and exhausting to deal with. Management seriously needs to look into how this office is being run. AMERIKA BURRELL and JOSHUA MULLER, specifically, were AWFUL communicators and extremely unprofessional in my interactions with them. They need serious review from management. There is ABSOLUTELY NO URGENCY, ACCOUNTABILITY, OR BASIC ABILITY TO RESOLVE ISSUES without tenants having to chase them for answers. Upper management NEEDS to review how these employees communicate with tenants and handle tenant concerns because this is not how students or customers should be treated. The most disturbing part is that Stuho already has so many negative reviews describing terrible experiences, yet the same problems seem to continue. At some point, STUHO, YOU NEED TO STOP IGNORING THE COMPLAINTS AND ACTUALLY FIX YOUR COMPANY. Students are already dealing with school, rent, moving, and financial stress. They should not also have to fight their housing company just to get basic issues resolved. If you are renting from Stuho, KEEP RECORDS OF EVERYTHING. KNOW YOUR RIGHTS. Based on my experience, I would NEVER trust this company to handle an important issue without documentation and constant follow-up. The way this company operates feels incredibly shady, and students deserve FAR BETTER than this. I would NEVER rent from Stuho again. AVOID STUHO AT ALL COSTS.

I wish I could give StuHo 0 stars. Absolutely the worst leasing company I’ve used at USC and I’m graduating now. Worse than Tripalink even. They left us without AC in the LA heat for 40 days. Genuinely gave me higher cortisol and acne than my school work or applying to jobs.

Air conditioning is broken and a raccoon lives in the backyard. Maintenance hasn’t come after 3 days in this heat wave. May the entire management team get a heat stroke the same way I have

Never go with Stuho. The room was not cleaned and extremely dirty before I moved in. Took over a week to fix the A/C and were not very communicative during the process, people just showed up randomly one morning to fix it. We were not notified that people would be trimming the tree in our front yard, and they tripped the gas line which shut off warm water for a couple days. We were charged to turn the water back on, which after many weeks were finally reimbursed. To top it all off the front door lock is extremely finicky and frustrating to open and close every day. Rent is too high to justify living in a location of this quality.

Textbook definition of slumlord; unable to answer calls, text messages, and emails, even during working hours on business days. Tracking them down is constantly a hassle. If you are a USC student, go anywhere else.
