I had a really great experience my first year living on the forest gate side and liked it so much that I decided to stay for the summer assuming it would be most convenient to not have to move between summer and fall. Well I was wrong! When me and my roommates first signed contracts for the summer and paid rent the dates aligned perfectly so that the fall lease started directly after summer but then all the leases were changed (no reimbursed for rent) and everyone was forced to move out for two weeks between summer and fall so they could do any necessary renovations and repairs. They moved me into an apartment on the forest pine side saying that it had just been turned and therefore should be in better condition than my old apartment just for it to turn out to be so much worse. Upon moving in everything was absolutely messy and disgusting there were bugs EVERYWHERE in the bathtub, kitchen, widows, bedroom, etc. there was hair and spilled food in the fridge and freezer, there was trash and left items in the kitchen cabinet drawers and my bedroom drawers, trash all over the floor, dirty silverware I found under my bed, and the list goes on. Carpet and tile is also a disaster despite those things being recently replaced in other apartments. My biggest issue though is the fact that rent is the exact same amount for a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, etc that’s all significantly smaller and more run down. There’s also zero storage space and everything is way more cramped. My biggest advice is stay away from university pine!! If you’re gonna live here get an apartment on the forest gate side!!

Okay I have to say I was a little nervous about moving here I have never lived in apartments owned by a big corporation I guess 😅 but I LOVE this place I have put in quite a few repair requests mostly to change out the light bulbs cause I don’t like standing on chairs and don’t know how or what bulbs to use lol. The repair guy Jason so friendly and respectful and fast. The property managers Brooklyn and Erickson are amazing. I ask I lot of questions they are answering within the day and always are so kind and helpful. And very understanding. People rent here while spots are open with utilities it equals out to about 515-530 a month depending on utility use. But overall this is a great place to live I love it here.

Brooklynn helped my boyfriend and I find an affordable apartment for us when we weren't having any luck with any other places. She is very personable, positive and sweet. She responded quickly every time I had a question or my mom had one. I highly recommend contacting her if you need a place to stay. She will try her best to help you figure things out. The new management is doing a really great job!!

The worst experience working with this company. Don’t bother calling, they won’t answer. My sister hadn’t even moved in and gave them plenty of notice that she would not be needing the apartment any longer. They are unwilling to work with her to find a solution. Fast forward two months, the lease takeover keeps falling through and management is doing absolutely nothing to mitigate the situation. I would rate zero stars if I could.

TLDR: if you are looking to pay more than what you are contracted for whatever trumped up charge or underhanded sleight they can find, this is the place for you. I am going to spare you the details of a sub-par apartment building with plenty of problems in each unit to strike more fully at the heart of the problem Concept Property management faces regarding their Forest Gate and University Pines properties: greed and carelessness. Brooklyn and Bergen--only two faces of management you will see if you are foolish or misinformed enough to lease with them--are splendid individuals with a genuine desire to help. However their desire is bastardized by some faceless entity that lords over the property with an iron fist. Twice I have had to pay because of policy changes this entity enacts without informing any of the residents. Once because a suspicious parking spot that they announced on mass text to be legal was later quietly redacted and once again after being forced to move out due to a two week cleaning period and forced to pay a second deposit once returning to the apartment they forced us out of. I'm not the only one, speak to the residents, they all have similar stories. Whoever is over Bergen and Brooklyn needs to be replaced. I asked for a name and was told "Caitlyn", so please for the good of all involved, find a nice place for Caitlyn to work where she does not get to live out whatever sick power fantasy is playing in her head. Edit: I am genuinely concerned that they are going to find another charge for me as a consequence of writing this review. I would not put it past them. That's how little faith I have in the humanity of this awful company.
