Lived here for several years and it was alright. Super cheap rent with most utilities included. No AC was horrible though. Without an AC unit it could easily get over 80 degrees on the second floor and it would stay that hot all night. Sometimes the apartment was hotter than it was outside, even with the unit running all night.

Aggie village was a terrible experience. In one apartment we had squirrels. In the contract it says housing won’t help with pests. But pest control couldn’t come without their approval. It took a lot before they allowed us to get rid of the squirrels. Then the second apartment we had mice. Everyone in the apartment building had mice and it took multiple complaints before they allowed a pest control company to come in. When the fire alarm was replaced, the ceiling tile fell. Besides that, there was no space and it was very depressing and sickening to be stuck in the brick walls. The RA’s and housing in general were awful people to deal with. They harassed us over false reports. They didn’t care about the problems our apartments had. Half the time when we asked maintenance to fix something, it was broken more. If I would’ve known what kind of experience it’s like there, I NEVER would’ve made the choice to move.

Maintenance was always very quick to come and fix our appliances. They even immediately replaced our fridge and stove when they weren’t working. I love that they have community activities so you can connect with others in the complexes. The apartments have cinder block walls, but command strips go on pretty easily. WiFi is included in rent and it’s awesome! I also loved that there was a playground and volleyball court to play on!

I lived in Aggie Village for over four years. It is the very definition of "you get what you pay for." The rent is the cheapest I've seen in the valley. Lots of utilities are included, including internet. Gas is still separate, though. It's also right next to campus, so you can easily walk or catch the bus to get there. The community is also great for non-traditional students. My wife and I made some good friends in our time here. There were a lot of kids, though, and a lot of free-range parents. We had several items of ours on our back porch that were ruined due to the neighborhood kids just doing whatever they wanted. Aggie Village is getting old and showing its age. There's not enough parking, the hookups for the dryers are gas (and outside on your back porch), and the buildings themselves are small cinderblock apartments with no central AC. And don't think you can get away with a portable AC unit and some fans; the airflow between rooms in our two-bedroom was nonexistent. Maintenance was also hit and miss. Sometimes the repair crew would show up quickly and fix the issue right away. Other times, they'd show up late and slap a band-aid on it. One time they flooded our bathroom because the tech "forgot to turn off the water" when going to change the seals in our toilet. For a newly married couple with not a lot of savings, Aggie Village is great to start off. Once you can afford it, though, move out to a place with covered and guaranteed parking, central AC, and where the walls aren't made out of concrete.

Married student housing. Helped move my in-laws in. Very small apartments but not too bad if it is just two people. Had playground and lots of outdoor space. You do have to apply and see if you qualify. But I haven't lived there so im not sure if it is a great place to live or not. But it seems about average.
