I couldn’t recommend not living here more. DONT DO IT! We had nothing but issues with the staff. They say the management team changed, and still had issues with them. When we moved in, the apartment was so dirty. We had to deep clean before we could even move in. The hallways are absolutely disgusting and they stink so bad. There was a cat that i reported multiple times roaming the halls, and they never did anything about it. I called the number on the tag, and the person told me it was an outdoor cat and it was okay. Our washer quit draining, and we had to put in 3 request before it was fixed. It took about 3 weeks. While it was down, they gave us keys to an empty unit and told us we could use it till our washer was fixed. While we had keys to the unit, they let someone move in and that person took my roommates clothes out of the dryer and donated them. The Quarters did nothing about it. When moving out, they sent out emails saying we had to be out at 12 pm on the 26th. On the 23rd at 11 pm, we got a text saying we had to have our keys turned in within the hour. Their communication was so bad the entire time! There is also many old creepy people who live here. When I was up late studying, I was always hearing fireworks. There was always a smell of weed around our building and the one beside ours. They always had cars broke down, and it specifically says something about this in the lease and nobody does anything. It made me not want to go outside by myself. My roommate also got shot with a bb gun by one of them. They are constantly making excuses for themselves then they are obviously in the wrong. There are probably things that I am forgetting, but it was an awful experience! There is a reason that their rent is so cheap. Pay the extra for a nicer place, you won’t regret it!

My experience with The Quarters Lincoln was HORRIBLE!! I am allergic to cats, and they moved someone with a cat into my apartment. When I brought it up, instead of trying to help, I was accused of lying about having a cat allergy. After I provided a doctor's note proving it, they completely stopped responding for almost three weeks. Because of their lack of communication, I ended up having to pay another month's rent while waiting for answers. The communication from management was awful throughout the entire situation. Every time my mom or I called, we were told the manager was unavailable or out of the office. Apparently no one else had the authority to make decisions, but no one ever passed along our concerns or followed up with us. We constantly had to chase them down for updates and rarely got any answers. On top of that, I submitted a lease transfer request and didn't receive a response for over two months. Waiting that long for something so important is completely unacceptable. Overall, the lack of professionalism, accountability, and communication made what should have been a simple process incredibly stressful. As a student paying to live here, I expected much better. I would not recommend The Quarters Lincoln to anyone looking for housing in Lincoln.

PLEASE stay away if you can. This should be your absolute last resort for a living situation. I would give them negative stars if I could. When I moved in, the place was filthy. My room had lots of dust and spider webs. The sink to the kitchen was absolutely gross. My bathroom sink was clogged with hair that was all clumped up from previous people (the day of move in). They do not check up on anything. The office is so unhelpful. They find every excuse in the book to justify anything they do wrong. I lived here for 6 months and was rarely home during the week due to work and got a move out charge of $650 dollars. My roommates, one who lived there 9 years, and the other who lived there 4 years all got charged significantly less. They won’t talk to you about move out charges in person or through the phone because they know what they’re doing. I promise you it is in your absolute best interest to stay as far away as possible from this apartment complex. -9/10 living experience here. All pictures below are minutes from when I moved in. AFTER a move in “inspection”.

Staff and management are incredibly disorganized and fail to take accountability for their wrongdoings. I pay an additional $30 a month for covered parking and woke up one morning to discover that my car was towed from my assigned spot at the request of the Quarters. I talked to the front office and explained that I was wrongfully towed, seeing as I consistently pay the covered parking fee and display the proper tag. They apologized and said that somehow they had forgot to register me in the system as having covered parking and proceeded to blame staff members who were no longer working there (I only moved in a few months ago). Following this discovery, they took no meaningful steps to correct the issue and made me go to the tow lot myself and pick up my car instead of them bringing it back to the apartment. The Quarters paid for the towing fee and "graciously" offered me one free month of covered parking as if that was some noble, and appropriately equal, way to make up for their carelessness. Still, them taking my car completely hindered my day and I was forced to sort out a problem they caused.

Do not live here! I lived here for 5 months and unfortunately had to move out due to roommates and poor communication from staff. I would email and call and not get anything back for weeks at a time. My ceiling was leaking and probably still is and when i told the apartment they ignored and acted like everything was fine. One of their tenants dog bit my dog and I had to go into the office and the only thing they could say was to put that animal on a dangerous list. If you have any problems whatsoever do not call the office because they do not answer to anything or any problem you might have. Dog got out of the dog park many times because the fence is always broken and they don’t care enough to even attempt to fix it. I emailed them about someone taking my lease or me having to pay it off and still yet no answer.
