Pros: - About a 20 minute walk to the University of Kentucky - Bus stop directly across the street from the apartment complex - Great management! If you need something fixed, you can use the online portal and get the problem fixed usually within 24 hours (sometimes less), or you can always walk in the main office and tell them that something is broken. Depending on what the issue is, they will come to you apartment and fix within a couple of hours. Juan and his team are the GOAT!!! - Communication between management and the tenants is amazing in my experience. They don't try to get one over you and can answer most of your questions pretty well. - No bug or rodent issues! Cons: - The apartment is pretty expensive for the size, but that is likely due to it being close to the University. - You HAVE to get renters insurance for your apartment which is an extra $15. Definitely more of a nitpick, but it can be annoying. I would absolutely recommend living here if you can afford it. It's a really nice area :)

I rented a studio apartment here for a year and a half while I finished up my degree at UK. The apartments are really nice inside and the rent was fair, especially considering the location. I could walk to my rotations at Chandler Hospital in 10 minutes, and my friends walked over after classes all the time. I loved the large kitchen space, hardwood floors, and the window in the bathroom. Also Kyle, the manager, is always very helpful and kind! I had a great experience and I highly recommend renting here.

My daughter has been living in the Axis for a year now and overall has been happy. Her apartment is on the top floor and it is quiet, not too warm or too cold. She has so far had no problems with the management and the few times she had maintenance issues they were addressed fairly quickly and efficiently. There is a strict parking policy, but in the daytime visitors can park for a short time and never had problems. The good thing about these apartments is that they are new and recently remodeled. Compared to what she's hearing from student friends from other complexes, she is glad to be staying here. New comment: after staying here for two years now, we definitely recommend the Axis apartments. The fact that Kyle, the manager, is always there, is efficient, friendly and knows the business, has made a huge difference.

I’ve really enjoyed the apartments. The area is always fairly quiet and clean and the property manager always does well to help us address concerns! Also, every time we’ve requested maintenance, they’ve helped us very quickly. One downside is that some people don’t pick up after their pets, however the majority of residents do. Overall, I think it’s a good apartment, and well priced considering its locations compared to the University of Kentucky.

We have been living here for over 2 years and I couldn’t recommend this apartment complex enough! We are close to UK’s Campus and Downtown Lexington. The property manager Kyle is amazing and has helped us out with every problem we have ever had. He is quick to answer at any time of day. The apartments are super cute with hardwood flooring and a perfect size for 1 or 2 people to live in. I have had 0 problems with any neighbors and everyone is very considerate of other peoples space. 10/10 Great place to live especially as a UK student.
