If you’re looking for a place to stay in Lawrence, look no further than The Connection… but more importantly, ask for Mia. 😂 We took a tour with Mia today, and I have to say, I’m pretty sure she was born to give apartment tours. She knew every answer before I could even finish asking the question, somehow made walking around buildings in the Kansas heat enjoyable, and managed to make us feel like we’d lived there for years already. Front desk? Nailed it. Tour guide? 10/10. Customer service? Off the charts. Professional, friendly, funny, and somehow remembers everything. I wouldn’t be surprised if she also knows where everyone parked, fixes the Wi-Fi, waters the plants, and keeps the coffee fresh. I’m starting to think she secretly runs the whole place. 😂 Seriously though, Mia made the entire experience easy and enjoyable. She was welcoming from the moment we walked in and took the time to explain everything without making us feel rushed. You can tell she genuinely enjoys helping people, and it shows. So if you’re apartment hunting in Lawrence, do yourself a favor and go see Mia. The Connection is already a fantastic place, but having someone like her greeting people and giving tours makes it even better. She deserves a raise… or at the very least an employee-of-the-century plaque. Highly recommend!

Welcome to The Connections at Lawrence! Where the WiFi never works, the pool is always green, your apartment has mold and floods, and not to mention the fire alarms that don’t work! Looking for a Luxury option? Look no further!!!! For only $600+ a month you can have mold in your ceiling, water coming through the floors and fire alarms that will wake you up at 3 am*_* The pool is only open for a couple of weeks during the summer which is super ideal considering how often they clean it! (It’s never cleaned) I know by now you’re wondering if the owner of this wonderful place cares about their tenants… and the answer is… YES HE DOES… we have contacted him and we got NO response!!! Amazing right!?!? Has your apartment flooded 6 different times?! Don’t worry!!!! They will place 13 fans for a week and make you pay for the electricity bill! Have homework or have to study for finals? Well you’re in LUCK because the wifi is slower than McDonald’s wifi:) Fire alarms not working? No problem! They’ll just leave you without them

I have been working with the management team at Connection as a vendor, and I can honestly say that they care about the quality of the units, as well as the entire property. Haven, Jeremy, and the rest of their team strive to provide tenants with a clean, safe, and positive environment. From the community-centric feel of their clubhouse, to the emphasis they put on the quality of the property overall, I would not hesitate to rent from Connection at Lawrence!

Terrible to work with! Don't live here! The leasing arrangement is an elaborate scam where they have you sign a lease and they check your finance within the same process. With most apartment complexes this is a two-step process, but not here. Also, when you discover this is happening and want to rescind your information they only reply via their chatbots with no human interaction. This process has been going on now for nine months and after talking to a couple of property managers, with the most recent being Haven, they still will not say they are at fault. Stay away from The Connection at Lawrence.

Full of black mold inside the walls and outdated everything! They’ll reuse old damaged furniture and charge you for it so please make sure to check all furniture and cushions and make notes of it! Also Tell them you wanna see an actual unit and not the model in the office and you’ll thank me later because you will NOT lease from there after seeing an actual unit! So if you enjoy respiratory issues from black mold and outdated everything and a horrible maintenance team and property manager who is never there or is always unavailable experience go on and live here! But if you want a better experience please don’t live here!! I’m stuck in this POS place another couple months and we are all moving on to a way better place! Horrible management company in Lawrence Ks! Go through all the reviews and everything said about this complex is absolutely 100% facts!!
