Echo 1055 Apartments, las-vegas-nv

Echo 1055 has been and always will be the best student housing complex. I lived there my first year and enjoyed it, I’m so excited to go back for my second year. I enjoy walking past the staff every morning, always cheerful and welcoming. The new management is quite better than before, who knew they can up their communication and become great. I am glad with the change.

My tour of Echo 1055 Apartments was efficient, informative, and professional. The Echo 1055 staff were incredibly flexible giving me a tour that was not scheduled and requested last minute, on the spot. More importantly, their customer service was superb - beyond expectations - especially when dealing with my endless questions and high energy. They also give me these awesome gifts (see photo). I hope to live there and be apart of the dynamic, educational community asap! -Teresa

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I’m extremely frustrated with how management handled my situation. In July 2025, I informed the front desk that my cat had passed away and asked for the pet rent to be removed. The employee I spoke with assured me that she would take care of it. Around the same time, maintenance also removed the pet sticker from my door, which further led me to believe everything had been processed correctly. Nearly a year later, on June 1, 2026, I discovered that I had continued being charged pet rent the entire time. When I brought this to management’s attention, I was told there was nothing they could do because the employee who handled it no longer works here and there is nothing in writing. While I understand management has changed, it’s disappointing that residents are expected to bear the cost of mistakes made by previous staff. The removal of my pet sticker should have been an indication that the property was aware I no longer had a pet. What makes this even more frustrating is that this is not the first time I’ve come to management with an issue only to be told that there’s nothing they can do to help. Accountability and communication between staff members should not become the resident’s problem. I expected better customer service and a reasonable effort to resolve a situation that resulted from the property’s own internal communication failure.

The place is nice, but the staff can sometimes be rude. There are also security that work at this place that take their job too seriously. They could do a better job at background checks when hiring their security guards. They could also use better elevator maintenance. Aside from that, this place is affordable and close to the school, making it worthy to live in.

In my opinion, this is one of the best apt complexes in Las Vegas. I never took the time to get to know any of the staff to be honest. They all knew me by name and face somehow. They are all super friendly and professional, in the rare case there are issues they address those problems promptly, that said it's incredibly rare for there to be issues of any type. There is a coffee machine you can use for your daily caffeine fix that also doubles as a hot chocolate machine, and it also makes a bunch of other drinks. They also have a wide assortment of board games if that's your thing, I met some really good friends at Echo playing board games, so I'm partial to them. They have a pool table and ping pong table which are used frequently be residents. Lastly, they also have a business center/computer lab. I can't tell you how many things i have printed over there. I feel like for most people the jewel of the place is the pool deck, its well designed for community functions to take place. The apt complex regularly puts community events on at both the pool and at various locations in the apt complex. Food makes me extremely happy, I'm a fat boy at heart and they do have the tendency to hand out a lot of of free food. Finally, they also have a gym which pretty much has everything you need, plus an assault runner (google it). Used correctly the assault runner will take your soul and laugh at you in the process which is a good thing. I give this property my strongest recommendation to make your future home particularly if you're a UNLV student. This place is across the street from UNLV and it'll take less than 5 minutes to get to UNLV on foot. The strip is about 2 miles west of Echo and the local grocery store is also a short walk from Echo as well. Location wise, honestly, you can't really beat it.
