I certainly would not recommend living here. The only advantages here include the in-unit washing and drying and the gym (both of which are not cleaned or maintained) and free parking, which are the bare minimum considering the expenses and lack of upkeep at these aging complexes. Keep in mind that these buildings are very old, with thin walls and absolutely no maintenance to the entrance into the buildings, which often smell putrid. There is extremely poor communication regarding when they enter your home for inspections and maintenance. You have absolutely no heads-up when maintenance comes into your apartment. In my experience, only at 8 a.m. Meanwhile, upon move-in, the apartments are utterly disgusting. My apartment had furniture, food, and dirt from the previous tenants. An upsetting experience that nearly all new tenants manage as they clean up after others on their own time and dime. Upon moving in, the most basic of processes were not communicated or managed. The power has gone out on multiple occasions (which happens a few times a year in Laramie, but The Social initiates zero communication about the timelines of the matter), the fire alarm has gone off for over 12 hours, and the hot tubs are only open from mid-July to mid-September. The rent is consistently $630 or more for comfortable heating, and the shuttle frequently breaks down. I recommend this as a last resort.

I like this place alot it a great community. The office always dose events with free food and they allow pets. The hot tubs are fun too. The gym is good too open all day. The apartments are nice as well 2 bathroom two bedrooms. And the have furnished and unfurnished apartments as well. Great place for the price.

I have lived at The Social for about 4 months now and I have had a great experience! The lady’s in the office, Abby and Catherine, have been great to me. They are able to answer all of my questions and they are super sweet! Catherine also does a great job planning The Social’s events. I love the instagram account too, the videos are super cute and funny. The overall experience has been great, if I had any problems Gabe and everyone in the office has worked hard and diligently in order to fix said problems.

I have lived here for about 2 years now and I’m signing for a another year in my apartment! I really love how close it is to campus, the hot tub and the clubhouse is my FAVORITE! Everything is very clean and modern. It’s nice that the internet is reliable with so many online classes and when I moved in I had the option to use their furniture or my own (moving to Laramie I didn’t have to buy any). I don’t know what I would do without the staff being here to help when I first moved in, they were and continue to be so helpful! THANK YOU!

My daughter and her friends moved into The Social in June. Since then it has been an up and down roller coaster for them. I believe some of it had to do with changes in management. I recently called to clarify a few things and spoke with Sam Goodwin at the front office (she deserves 5 stars). She was able to sort through everything and was incredible at finally providing a plan. Thank you Sam for stepping in and making things right!
