Holly Place, lafayette-la

My apartment is infested with termites, this place is disgusting. They’ve barely acknowledged the problem and has done nothing to keep me updated about it. I have to go to them. I read the reviews before I moved in and thought it was under new better management that’s why I came to give them a chance. Do yourself a favor and do not rent from here. Pics below for proof.

I like everything about holly place been living here and the office staff is really nice. They work with me and help me with anything I need. I love it !

This place has definitely declined in terms of management. The pool has been a disgusting green swamp for months. Further, today the light has fallen and presents a serious electrical risk as it is a live wire on the ground - children and pets can be vulnerable. The boards near our apartment are rotting and need repair. Overall, there is potential but this place is really lacking management and attention. I hope it has a better future but I may consider moving if not.

It’s been more than 5 months now. This place is not changing much after repeated request.I mean the Pool looked bad before and now it’s simply nasty. For so many months now it’s going on and it was completely rubbish not able to see it clean nor able to use whole summer. And worst part is you can’t go near the pool or mailing box. It’s dirty, it’s smelly and in fact nasty environment. I hope some one sue them for cheating so many residents for so long now.

I am trying to apply for an apartment, but nobody will pick up the phone. I am moving from Shreveport and took the time to come to Lafayette to tour apartments. Wanted to set up a tour, however, since the phones are not working (which you won’t find a mention about anywhere) and nobody gives you a call or email back, it was impossible to set up a tour. I just had to walk in and ask people that work in the leasing office directly to look at the apartment. I have applied for the apartment on Monday morning, the phones are still down, I had some questions regarding the place, but I am in Shreveport, so the only option I had was to send an email. It’s been over 24 hours since I sent that email with questions and nobody answered me. Update: It’s been 10 days since I applied. My application went through all of the background checks and is waiting for approval from the property manager. I’ve been told that the property manager will look at it “today” for 3 days in a row. The manager is also never in the office, because of who knows what. You’ll be lucky if you get an answer from their phone, since they never call back if you leave a voice message or reply to their emails. I was promised a call back before the end of the day, and as per usual, no show no call. If you want to live here you have to have A LOT of patience dealing with their leasing and management team, since no one will do anything efficiently.
