Cottage Landing, lafayette-la

I loved living here for 2 years! The staff are super friendly and helpful with whatever I needed or had questions about. Maintenance was timely and consistent. Such a convenient location for UL students to walk to class! I would highly suggest this place to live if you’re considering it. I would 100% live here again if I wasn’t graduating this year 😢😢😢

During my time at the cottages, I have been able to find a place to call home and make some many memories. With all the amenities and amazing staff, I couldn't have wished for a better place to spend my college years. Being so close to campus and having quick on ground services makes it the best place for a busy college student with affordable pricing!!

the reason they have so many good reviews: they give prizes to students who leave a five star review to boost their ratings. if you value your money do not live here. though the cottages is not an inherently bad place to live, if you ever want a pet, plan on having a friend over ever, using your ac, want a place that feels at home, do not live here. i have never been so astonished by the unnecessary charges they have. of course they are an apartment complex and they are there to steal your money, but they are dirty they have so many move out charges for miscellaneous mundane things i know people who have had to take out loans to pay their fees. i alone had to pay them over 1K at move out for things that had nothing to do with me. in addition to them virtually stealing, they will not fix your maintenance requests and the main maintenance personal personally called my roomates stupid. i have never been so appalled by a so called business it is disgusting. finally they have a grand total of six guest spots for over 20 cottages many of which occupant 5 people. to sum this up, i hope you do not have friends or family who live outside of this apartment because they wont be able to come over without being towed.

BEWARE!!!! OUR COLLEGE GIRL FOUND HER UNIT ON MOVE IN DAY DIRTY & DISGUSTING! UNKEPT /TRASH / JUNK / OLD FOOD /DIRTY UNDERWEAR ,LEFT BEHIND ITEMS EVERY ALL OVER ,UN VACUUMED ,UN MOPPED ,UN DUSTED !! MAINTENANCE PERSON MAY HAVE STARTED TO CLEAN NEVER SHOWED BAVK UP TO COMPLETE A PROPER CLEANING ! THEY ARE NOT QUICK & NOT RELIABLE ! Promises made to her verbal by office staff were not kept ! Was told the unit will be clean & ready to move in NOT !!! It’s move in day & our UL Student upon arrival was excited & expecting to start moving into her new residence. She was told by management that her unit that was supposed to be clean it was not -it was in disarray from previous renters ! She contacted office for help but got NOWHERE!! She had to completely spend the entire day cleaning after last tenants!!!! Thanks to the facility not following through !!! Dirty Floors throughout -counters - bathroom-laundry room -trash everywhere- dirty underwear-dirty fridge- Sink -counters ! She was so overwhelmed , I am so disappointed The Cottage Landing Management didn’t have their act together for something like this to happen !is not ACCEPTABLE!! SHE WANTED TO MOVE OUT - SHE WORK FEVERISHLY TO FIND SOMEONE TO TAKE OVER HER LEASE . SHE FOUND SOMEONE (they make you find someone to move in ! You are on your own )yes you have to find someone to TAKE OVER the LEASE ! SO ALL THE PAPERWORK WAS FILLED OUT& our GIRL WAS ASKED TO MOVE OUT & TURN IN KEYS BY MANAGEMENT SO SHE MOVED OUT LEAVING YHE OKACE IN ORDER & MOVED INTO ANOTHER PLACE ! THEN the rNEW GIRL BACKED OUT SO NOW OUR GIRL HAS TO CONTINUE TO PAY $750 MONTHLY RENT TIL AUGUST 2024 or UNTIL SHE FINDS ANOTHER RENTOR TO TAKE OVER !!OUR HIRL IS STRUGGLING TO PAY ONE RENT PAYMENT LET ALONE 2 !!!WITH SCHOOL AND 2 JOBS HOW CAN SHE RECRUIT A REPLACEMENT PERSON TO TAKE OVER HER LEASE !!! ITS NOT RIGHT WHEN THEY ASK HER TO MOVE OUT & TURN IN KEYS the LEASE SHOULD HAVE TERMINATED!! THEY CARE LESS HELPING OUT A STUDENT . NOT WORTHY OF 1 STAR!

I absolutely LOVE cottage landing! The staff is amazing, and both the staff and residents make it feel like home. The amenities are also great especially trash valet. I've met some of my best friends at CLL, and I'm so happy that I decided to make Cottage Landing my home.
