I cannot recommend renting from this company. From the moment we moved in, our experience was unacceptable. The unit was absolutely filthy upon move-in. It was clear that little to no cleaning had been done before we received the keys, and I have photos documenting the condition of the property. Before move-in, we were repeatedly told that an early move-in might be possible. We rearranged plans multiple times as dates kept getting pushed back. Weeks later, the landlord laughed and told us, “Yeah, we never do that.” Interestingly, the tenants who moved into our unit after us were allowed to move in more than a week before their lease officially began. My bedroom had cigarette smoke stains covering the walls. After significant complaints, the room was finally repainted, but there was no rent reduction or accommodation despite me being unable to use my bedroom while the work was being completed and the paint was drying. Other walls throughout the unit that were also stained were never addressed. There was literally a bag of marijuana left in my bathroom cabinet from previous tenants. I included a few of the many photos I have. Safety and security concerns were also ignored. On multiple occasions, homeless individuals gained access to our building. The issue was only discovered because we had an Arlo camera installed. Management did not take the situation seriously until we contacted the police ourselves. Communication with management was consistently frustrating. Concerns were often met with condescension rather than solutions. The company’s legal representative frequently attempted to intimidate tenants with legal language instead of addressing legitimate issues. Any time we raised concerns, we felt patronized rather than supported. Maintenance was another ongoing problem. There were at least three separate leaks during our tenancy that management was completely unaware of until we reported them. Time and time again, it felt like problems were only addressed after tenants pushed relentlessly for action. What made this experience especially disappointing was the cumulative impact it had on my roommates and me. We were charged fees whenever possible, dismissed when we raised concerns, and constantly felt as though our concerns were inconveniences rather than legitimate issues requiring attention. I could continue listing issues, but the overall takeaway is simple: this was the worst rental experience I have ever had. I strongly encourage prospective tenants to carefully consider other options before signing a lease with this company.

My family has been renting a house from Prestige Rentals LLC for almost 6 years, now. We've had some issues with appliances, a water line backing up, ducts needed cleaned and an AC issue over the years but Keith was on top it of right away with any issue that ever came up. It's an old house, so things are bound to happen but his repsone time to help and fix things has been amazing, even with us being almost an hour away from La Crosse. It's been a great 5 plus years renting from them and we plan on staying for as long as they keep this house. Thanks Keith for being a great landlord and wonderful to my family.

Here to warn people about it how much of a fraud this company and Keith (owner) is. I wish I could give a no star rating. Keith is worse than what you think a bad landlord is, and he is a terrible communicator. It’s interesting because before I figured out who he was, many other people who have rented through prestige rentals told me how Keith is terrible, unreasonable, and non-helpful. In my experience dealing with him he try’s to make himself appear as if he’s very helpful when in all reality he has no respect for his tenants. When you need maintenance or help Keith is very unreliable, he either does nothing or try’s to take advantage the tenants money whenever the opportunity presents itself just so he can benefit for the errors and problems he’s created within his own properties. I’d recommend not renting through this company, there are many other better landlords in La crosse. Surely Prestige rentals (Keith), and his associates are the worst and most unreasonable people to deal with. Be sure to not rent through this company!

Prestige Rentals in La Crosse was an outstanding landlord before purchasing our home. They operate with total honesty, and yes, they are very transparent. That is exactly what tenants should want in a management company. They are about sticking to leases, not building a company on emotions. It is completely apparent that negative reviews are just emotional "get even" tactics written after the fact. It is sad to see people are only reviewing the entirety of their company only with bitter complaints clearly come from people who were held accountable for unethical ESA documentation or rightful security deposit losses. If you respect your contract and want a fair, professional experience, they are a great company.

My daughter rented from prestige (only 1 year) while going to UWL. They were a great landlord and they strictly stick to their leases with complete honesty. When she moved out she was charged for some damages. My daughter was initially upset and as a parent I had to look at the situation realistically. We reviewed the lease and move in and move out processes and the charges were 100% accurate and fair. We know many people write bad reviews on quick emotions however we wanted to write as a parent and family that doesn’t. We teach our daughter to be better than that or else it’s not a fair review into that small business. So if you want a professional property manager that follows their written contracts they are excellent.
