Worst apartment I’ve ever lived in. I’m breaking my lease early due to it being so unlivable. No one will respond to you for help and the place is a mess. When I moved in it looked like no cleaners had been here. I had to disinfect the entire apartment…including weird yellow stains around the toilet. The management has switched 3 times since I’ve lived here and no one has been good. And each time they switch, my money got messed up and it caused so much stress for me because you have to pry your way to talk to anyone here. Please don’t live here. It is “affordable” but at what cost.

I’ve lived here for 6 months, and it has genuinely been nothing but a headache. The only thing they're quick to do is take your money. Every day there seems to be a new issue, whether it’s parking problems or communal bathroom issues nothing will be fixed promptly. Management is USELESS when it comes to responding and helping out in any situation. We’ve had multiple major problems in the building and again residents aren’t notified until everything is already over, if we’re even notified at all! Save yourself the money and frustration and live literally anywhere else.

My experience was very similar to Rina’s. I lived at the crashpads for 2 years. When I first moved in they hadn’t cleaned the apartment before I moved in and unfortunately there was cat tribe all over the floor. They did eventually replace the carpet. Then in the end in the winter the whole complex had cockroaches, that took months for them to own up to and exterminate. Also when I came back from summer I noticed a crack in my ceiling and water damage. The first time it rained there was significant amounts of water coming into my apartment. To which they “hammered a nail” and that’s how they fixed it. Then another company took over management and they started doing thin gas to improve the property and that eventually stopped after a few months of them taking over. I also recently moved out and there was supposed to be a move out inspection, surprise they never showed up for it. Now I’m unsure if they will return my security deposit or not. Unfortunately I do not recommend living here as you will be disappointed and regret your choices.

I lived here for over a year, and there was old management that started to work on the building and get it to be set up nice. Instead there was a new company that took over and nothing was no longer getting fixed. The stairs are uneven, paint jobs just peel and get painted back over. There were many issues with cockroaches left with no one to clean it up. The bathrooms are shared and get really nasty, they “clean” once a week but just wash water down the sink to get rid of dirt. The landlord was never there, and people would complain about issues and text the landlord and at times wouldn’t even get a reply for weeks. We even had a fire in the first floor bathroom and no one showed up besides a text from landlord saying we’re sorry this happened. The floors in the room are uneven and catch your feet and any fabrics. You have to pay extra fees and it’s not worth it. The kitchen has mold and no one came in to fix it until my year lease was over. The ovens are so old it makes the fire alarms go off every time you try to use them. The new management made parking $200 extra every semester, there aren’t enough spaces for the people living so you’d have to walk around after you park in a non ticketing area. The walls are so thin you can hear the neighbors. You don’t even get doors inside rooms if you share with others. You pay over 3 grand for nothing to even be renovated or 2023 looking, it’s dusty and dirty. Laundry is outside of the building you have to walk to it, and it’s extra each load, not enough space or machines for tenants that live there. If you’re trying to rent in Kutztown, I don’t recommend 11 E Main Street. It’s not worth the money, financial aid, or time to stay here. Or at least give it a tour before moving into it and regretting 2 weeks in.

this place may be affordable but i do not recommend living here. management never sticks. all of them are the same. you never get an answer when you try and contact them for a problem. they LOVE leaching money off of their tenants. i did not get contacted once during my move out process. i had no idea what to do. i didn’t know where they wanted the keys. i later contacted them and they claimed they sent an email out explaining what i should do. never got it. they told me to leave the keys in the mail box. i did, a day or two later. for some reason they did not receive the keys. i asked about my security deposit and once i got information on that, it showed that they’re taking everything. i had to pay a re key fee that was around 165 dollars because they were too slow or lazy to communicate. very unprofessional. they need to do better. there was a lot more to say, but I'm gonna leave it at that. DO NOT waste your time and money living here. they do not deserve your money or time. Advantage Point is better.
