We have been very pleased with the Union Knoxville for our daughter! She loves the community and its amenities. She was able to move in early, so she didn't feel rushed to get everything in place before classes started. It is within walking distance to everything she needs! We renewed her lease for 2026-2027 and are looking forward to another great year! And, Sydney H. is a valuable member of the Union staff!

We had a great tour experience with Liv! She was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and answered all of our many questions without hesitation. She also walked us through the process in a way that felt clear and stress-free. The property itself is in a great location, with cozy apartments and really nice community spaces. So far, this has been the best tour and welcome we’ve had. We’re looking forward to our daughters moving in this fall and are hoping this is the start of a great experience!

My daughter got two flat tires here in the parking garage is so narrow midsize cars can barely fit. This is ridiculous given that parking is over $200 a month. In addition, no one ever answers their phone and when they do, help is rarely given. A promise of a callback by the manager is always given, except the callback never comes. In addition, the whole year, my daughter lived here the app to collect her mail never worked and no one had a good answer of how to help. Super unorganized.

2025 UPDATE: Transferred rooms within the Union for the 2025-2026 school year so wanted to provide some feedback. The ability to hammer down a move date was challenging and only occurred less than a week before move which is not ideal for those OOS. The staff was nice during move in and since she was just moving rooms the process was smooth with big yellow bins available. The room was clean and slightly bigger due to having an en-suite this year. For perspective, took us 4 loads with the really large bins, and everything already unboxed. The garage parking is good. However, maneuvering into the gate area is tricky. Overall, we found the Union to be a nice apartment building for a student wanting to be close to campus. 2024-2025 Review -The staff is beyond helpful in trying to accommodate our move in and even their extra sparkle of each room before move in is much appreciated. While the rents are high and rooms small, being a new property, I wasn’t worried with issues I had seen at other properties. I also felt that our students will be safe which is very important.

Loved my time at the Union! The maintenance crew has always been super accommodating when things go south, and the staff has always been very kind and helpful. Sydney helped me from day one get settled, and has always helped with my mail-related inquiries as well as being a welcome voice anytime I walk in the door.
