One of my favorites views in Knoxville! The walk to campus isn’t bad at all and it’s really convenient to walk on Tennessee game days to avoid traffic and parking on campus! The staff is great and the resident events usually involve free food which is great for college students!

Flagship Kerns is a really nice place to live, especially for grad students or upper-level students who want to be close to campus without being right in the middle of the school chaos. It’s a quieter setup but still very convenient. The amenities are solid, and if you’re facing the school, the view is actually pretty great as well. Overall, a great balance of location, comfort, and atmosphere.

This is a very nice/modern place to live..I'd say mainly for students and young professionals. They have an awesome clubhouse that stays open and available...to hang with friends, watch t.v, there is even a place to study (with computers to use), and a pretty nice gym...my favorite part is the fully stocked coffee bar (snacks too!) The pool is also a fun place to hang with friends...they have a huge grill and a pretty awesome fire pit to sit around at night. It's very well kept and management is super nice and attentive to all your needs.

It’s a 50/50 spot. Good people and management for sure. Parking is a huge issue. I get home from a long hard day of work, then I have to walk up a hill just to get to the complex. The garbage care is wonderful done. The apartments a beautiful and well priced. Now finally, I love my roommate, he is a great guy. I was on my own for a couple of months. Out of nowhere I was told that I was getting a roommate, THREE DAYS IN ADVANCE! If I was told at least a week in advance, that would’ve been great. Edit: Now still not much has changed from my previous review. But one thing has became a problem once again: the colleges are back up which means college students are back. No problem with the students, the problem is that there is no parking again. The complex knows exactly how many tenants they having living in the apartments, they also know how many units they have. The owner of Flagship Kerns should be making a hasty decision to add more parking. It’s just rather disappointing. Flagship Kerns has its pros but also has its good amount of cons.

Experience has been ok. The rooms are nice and big. But, I have had trouble when I moved in there being mold and uncleanliness everywhere. I had to put back my stuff to deep clean the apartment before I felt comfortable in it. I have submitted maintenance requests that have been marked as complete without anyone stopping by. I do enjoy how close I am to campus and it’s a nice walk. I have had few experiences with homeless people walking up to my door which I feel like should not be able to happen in a student apartment complex. I have had hit or miss communication processes with the office. Sometimes it’s immediate and descriptive responses, others I have spend months emailing about everyday to no response. Good complex but could be better. And I wouldn’t trust most of the 5 star reviews because the building once a month will give people free stuff if they leave a 5 star review. Edit: I have now encountered poor handling of my packaging causing my package of laundry detergent to leak all over the other items in the package and through the box. My container is broken. Very frustrating :( and gave my package to another resident.
