Gold Zone Ridge, kent-oh

This is the worst apartment I have ever lived in. Management does not communicate or miscommunicates information constantly. We were told we would have generators during electrical work and then we were left without power and hot water for nearly 50 hours with no notice. We reported that brown water was backing up into our tub for months without management calling a plumber. They rarely plow our parking lot in the winter and residents are left to dig out their cars. Everytime we call to speak with the leasing office they claim they don't know what's going on and can not tell us when work will be completed. I was just yelled at on the phone for asking how we will be compensated for not having a meaningfully operable apartment for 2 days with no warning and was told that I should be grateful because the apartment is below market value. I honestly fear they will retaliate against me, but I cannot in good conscience not warn other people about the nightmare that is living here.

Good place overall but could be better. The staircase is always filled with cobwebs and they don't come around to clean it often enough. The door also makes a huge loud shutting noise and it's very disturbing. They also don't have an outlet in the bathroom which is odd. Management is nice but they sometimes have contradicting answers and it can get confusing. They do seem to make an effort to help with any concerns though. No bug problems and the hallways don't smell bad. There is also very minimal noise from other residents, which is great.

If I could give a zero rating I would. Sewage backed up in the middle of the night filling the bathtub and overflowing into the apartment. Emergency maintenance was called and didn't have anyone available for a while. Didn't even come in to clean the carpet. Absolutely disgusting.

Nice place for the price. Management and maintenance are very nice and responsive.

They're currently renovating the apartment complex but I went on tour with miles and from what I've seen its a nice college apartment to have with friends. The 3 bedroom has enough room for friends and the price is very fair for the location.
