I had no problems until my move out. They signed a reletting agreement on my behalf without ever contacting me directly. I only found out because a staff member showed up at my door one morning asking if I had already moved out. I never received the reletting agreement email until after they realized it hadn’t been sent. I was only given my official move-out date two days before the new tenant was scheduled to move in. Management claimed they were relying on my roommate to relay all the details, even though I wasn’t even in the country at the time the agreement was signed. — to add on the “key drop off” file that was uploaded wasn’t even correct, it was someone else's key. After I finally left the unit, I was still charged a full extra month of rent. After asking about this charge I was told three different stories by different people. First that it would be refunded in a few days (it wasn't, and that was incorrect). Second I was informed they couldn’t do a direct bank transfer (despite having done an ACH debit without issue) and that it would have to be sent by mail or as a gift card (also incorrect). Then finally after speaking to Charlie I was sent an invoice for my refund, he told me if they didn't send my refund to me in 5 days he would contact them. Its been 5 days and now i have to wait until Monday. That would be almost a month now having no information on my refund. I repeatedly asked if a manager could authorize the refund directly, but I was told no one had the power to help. Why does something as straightforward as returning a tenant’s overpaid rent need to go through a third party with no accountability or timeline? The lack of communication, accommodation, and accountability is saddening. One month of rent isn't nothing. What if someone was counting on that for their lively hood? This process has just left me repeatedly confused and undervalued for tenant who had paid so much to live there for a year.

Do not waste your time or money here. My boyfriend and I have been living here for the past year. It is no where near worth the amount of money you pay in rent. We’ve had multiple issues here. First, there is an awful mildew/mold issue in our bathroom. The mold spots are all over the ceiling, and maintenance is no help. They came in once to ‘clean’ it. They did a surface cleaning, which only got rid of the visible spots but not the underlying problem. We asked them if they thought it was mold. They said no and to just shower with the door open and the fan on. We had been doing this already , and the mold spots were still there. After they cleaned the surface, it only took a week before the mold/mildew grew back and was visible again. I am now going to buy my own at home mold test to see what this really is since maintenance is no help. There is also a cockroach problem. Theres literally an infestation of roaches all throughout my unit. I’ve sprayed the whole apartment myself multiple times, and the roaches keep appearing. Maintenance is no help with this. They said they would put in a request for us and get our unit treated, but they never did. The AC is also finicky, especially during hot weather. It took us the whole year to actually get a decent maintenance guy to fully fix the AC for us. The next issue might sound insane, but it’s true. I got home one day, and there was a pile of what appeared to be poop outside of my porch door. There was no way the poop came out of a dog. The pile was so huge and rancid, it had to have come out of an animal like a horse or a cow. We went up to the front office, and all they did was tell us to put in a maintenance request to get it cleaned, so we did. A couple of hours passed, and the poop was still there and hadn’t been cleaned. At this point, the office was closed. So, I called after hours maintenance. The after hours maintenance just told me to put a request in (which I had already done), and that they would have to get to it tomorrow because they don’t consider it an emergency. When you see the pictures, I promise you you would view it as an emergency. Not only is it disgusting, the smell is absolutely disgusting and rancid. I do not know where/who this pile of shit came from, and the front office is no help about figuring that out either. Its hours later, and I’m still waiting on the shit to be cleaned. The smell is so strong it seeps into my unit. The second my lease ends, I’m out of this place. Please do not ever waste your money here. You can find 10x better for the same price or even cheaper. Please look at the photos attached below.

The Blake was a perfect place for my son and his best friend to land as they started school at KSU together last fall in a 2-2. We chose it because it is the closest off-campus housing complex, and walking to campus is quick and easy. We haven't had any issues with the space, repairs, pests, or noise. They live in the 600 area toward the back and have a secure, separate entrance on the ground floor, so it is quiet and calm, but with plenty of students around to connect. Best decision we made to figure out college life in Atlanta.

I have had such an amazing time living here! I love the staff and amenities offered as well. I think my favorite thing about the apartment is the community aspect. I have made so many good friends at the complex, and had so many fun adventures.

I toured here and loved the place! Alec was extremely helpful and answered all my questions. The signing process was smooth and easy and all the amenities looked great! Can’t wait to move in. 😇😇
