I moved here middle of May 2026 to get out of the dorms for school and couldn't be happier! Maintenance and cleaning are so speedy and respectful. They do a great job managing the property and enmities! Not to mention the management staff. Always friendly and great communications. The building is still new with some renovations but I'm never bothered by the construction. Definitely recommend for any other students or people looking for bedrooms with a private bathroom.

I would not recommend living in this apartment based on my experience. I lived at The Belleview for 14 months, and unfortunately my experience was overwhelmingly negative. During my time there, I dealt with black mold upon moving in, frozen pipes that left me without running water for nearly two weeks, and ongoing issues that were either handled poorly or not addressed in a timely manner. At one point, I was required to move units, and management attempted to assign me a random roommate without my agreement or prior discussion. Another major frustration was the lack of consideration and communication regarding maintenance work. On multiple occasions, I was woken up early in the morning by unexpected maintenance activities, including power washing patios around 7:45 a.m. There were also times when construction or repair work was being done in the unit above mine with little to no notice, resulting in significant noise and disruption. While I understand that maintenance work is necessary, residents should be given adequate communication and reasonable consideration before being subjected to these disturbances. I have also been disappointed by the lack of amenities available to residents despite paying for them. When I signed my lease, amenities such as a gym and outdoor community spaces were advertised as part of the property. Fourteen months later, many of these amenities are still unavailable or incomplete. It is frustrating to continue paying for features that have been promised for well over a year without seeing meaningful progress or receiving clear communication about when they will actually be available. If residents are expected to uphold their end of the lease, management should be expected to uphold theirs as well. The most frustrating part of living there was the management team. Nearly every interaction left me feeling dismissed and unheard. As a younger resident, I often felt that management assumed they could take advantage of me or talk down to me rather than treat me with the same respect they would give any other tenant. It consistently felt like no matter the situation, management would find a way to tell residents they were wrong while refusing to take accountability themselves. The only bright spot of the property was the maintenance staff and cleaning staff. The maintenance team was hardworking, professional, responsive, and genuinely cared about the residents. They deserve recognition and promotions for the work they do. The cleaning staff was also kind, friendly, and helpful. In many cases, they were the only employees who made residents feel valued and respected. Unfortunately, the positive experiences I had with maintenance and cleaning were not enough to outweigh the numerous issues I experienced with management and the condition of the property. Between the mold issues, lack of running water, unexpected move, missing amenities, constant disruptions, and poor management interactions, my experience has been extremely disappointing. Based on my experience, I would not recommend The Belleview to others.

I've been living here for about 4months now, and I don't have much to complain about. Positives: - Its quiet - its clean and well maintained. - Its safe, in a good location and very close to many amenities. (~8mins drive) - Maintenance team is punctual and respond really quick - Leasing personnels are very welcoming and generally nice people. Negatives. - Issues with the circuit breaking as it doesn't allow for heavy electric loads in the rooms. Overall, this is a solid choice for people looking for a good stay at an affordable price at the expense of owning a whole unit. If you are not too picky, you will enjoy your stay here.

This is a great apartment for those looking to live near Westport/Plaza for a good price. The rooms are very nice with modern design and appliances. They offer game rooms, study rooms, a yoga room and a free gym membership while they build theirs. The maintenance is great, they respond quickly to your issues and should roommate issues arise the leasing office is very patient in handling them. Security is also great, which is nice for living in down town KC. There are still some issues which is why I can’t give a full five stars but it’s pretty close to perfect. Highly recommend for students and anyone just looking for a cheap place in KC!!

Do not live here. I lived here for a semester and it was a horrible experience. The rooms don't have closets, only one of the rooms has a window, the windows in the living room barely open, we didn't hace AC for almost two weeks in the middle of the summer, and the elevator is constantly broken. We also had someone break into our apartment in the middle of the night and that remained unresolved.
