West Campus Village, kalamazoo-mi

West Campus was the worst and most stressful living experience I’ve ever had. Upon moving into the apartment, there was a multitude of issues that they didn’t fix before move in- huge chunk of the window sill (wood) from dogs of the previous residents, the trim was missing in various parts of the apartment, our double bathroom reaked of dog piss the entire year (even after treatments because they refused to replace the peed on wood cabinets and trim), our kitchen sink had water damage and mold (never fixed), management always had an attitude, getting our security deposit after move out took almost 4 month to get back. We had to threaten legal action and then we finally received our money. All in all, this place is not good. Highly recommend not renting from any apartments this agency has as they all have terrible management.

The management team shayna and kourtney were horrible to work with as they always had an attitude about everything and kourtney lied to us at our tour regarding cables they would supply to us and then proceeded to say she never said that once moved in. The dryer broke multiple times and they didn’t care. Some of the siding is held with thumbtacks, balconies need redone, they were all falling apart. Toilet seats were coming off in every bathroom. Drawers constantly fell apart, stove burner didn’t work most the time. The front door didn’t shut properly. The flooring was nice but at the end of the day, you really do get what you pay for. I don’t recommend this place unless it gets renovated and new property managers. The Maintenance dude Matt was awesome though!! He was always so friendly and helpful!!! Give that guy a raise and some help!!!!

The apartments are high quality for the price compared to surrounding available apartments, but the management is sometimes hard to get ahold of. However, they have been very good about snowplowing and even salting the sidewalks right up to your doorway.

Average housing. You get what you pay for. Wifi is horrible so count on having to buy your own internet service. Maintenance guys are super cool and pretty responsive. Landlord is extremely unhelpful.

A bit hard to find the right drive. The apartments aren't to bad, but it is a collage community.
