This place has honestly been one of the best parts of my college life. I met my best friends here and that already says a lot. As an international student, finding housing can be overwhelming, but everything here went smoothly. The staff are incredibly helpful and responsive, which makes such a difference when you're far from home. One of the underrated perks is that this apartment has its own bus stop, unlike many others, making it super convenient to get to campus or even grab groceries. Plus utilities are really manageable. You don't have to worry about paying for water or trash, and electricity costs are pretty low, which is great for a student. No need to worry about winter too cause they've always got someone out early clearing snow and pouring salt, making sure the roads and stairs are safe. It's those little things that really make you feel cared for. And honestly... if you're into stargazing or hoping to catch a glimpse of the northern lights, this is the place. So if you're still deciding, take this as your sign to sign that lease! :-)

I’m honestly beyond frustrated with my experience at 58 West. We have now been without Wi-Fi for almost 20 hours, and after spending more than an hour with Xfinity support, the issue is still not fixed. And I was told that I have to wait another 4-5 days so a technician can come and look at it. This is happening only days after we already went without Wi-Fi for about four days during the switch to Xfinity. For a student apartment complex, reliable internet should be one of the most basic services. Many of us depend on Wi-Fi for classes, assignments, work, meetings, and everyday communication. Having repeated outages like this is unacceptable. What makes it even more frustrating is that rent keeps increasing, and residents are told that the rates are based on “policy,” while different people are being offered different rates at the same time. It feels completely inconsistent and unfair, especially when the quality of service does not match the amount residents are being asked to pay. At this point, it’s not just one Wi-Fi issue. It’s the repeated service problems, poor reliability, lack of clear solutions, and constant frustration while rent continues to go up. Residents should not have to repeatedly chase down basic services that are supposed to be included. I really hope management takes this seriously, because the overall experience has been extremely disappointing and exhausting. Based on my experience, I would not recommend 58 West. The amount of frustration simply does not match what residents are paying to live here.

There are several great facility at 58 West, but the gym is by far my favorite. As an international student juggling schoolwork and being far away from home, the 58 West gym facility has become more than just a workout space for me, It is a place where I unwind and reset. Whenever I feel stressed or overwhelmed, I head to the gym to clear my mind and stay active. It has also been a big help in keeping my body fit and maintaining my mental health. I use the gym about six times a week, which shows just how important it is to me. One of the best parts is that I have also made some really good friends there. It is a great place not just for fitness but also for connecting and making new friends. I really appreciate having such a well-equipped and welcoming gym that is easily accessible right where I live.

Tony (maintenance supervisor) is the man. Told him about the cigarette smell in my apartment and he didn't hesitate to walk in. Not only did he identify the issues, but came up with a game plan to resolve them. 2 days later I have new carpet, fresh paint, and a new air filter. Tony understands serving his community with humility.

As a current resident at 58 West my favorite amenity would have to be the pool. This is definitely the perfect spot to chill and unwind on a hot summer day. Whether you wanna catch some rays, play volleyball, or even sway in the poolside hammocks this spot has definitely become my favorite living here. Of course I can’t forget the 58 West alligator who helps keep unwanted critters out of the pool allowing us to have a pleasant pool day. If you’re thinking of moving here or even utilizing the pool you won’t be disappointed!! The atmosphere is truly amazing!
