This place sucks. When I moved in I was missing a doorknob, my carpet was nasty (to the point the bottom of my feet would turn black if I walked in it barefoot) because they forgot to change it, there was an electrical outlet missing its cover, plus one of my roommates had fleas in her carpet because the previous person must’ve had a pet with fleas or when they changed the carpet it was contaminated or something and in order for it to be fixed (both my carpet and hers) her mother had to go yell at the staff to fix it because they kept ignoring it. Then later we got a cockroach problem and even after sending in a couple maintenance reports nothing was fixed until we (once again) had to call our parents to get it fixed, and later down the line there was also a mouse that had somehow made it in. Then, ON TOP OF THAT, we noticed our washer was leaking and water was coming up from our flooring so we reported it right away, they then came and fixed the issue but I still noticed we had water coming up from the floorboard so I reported it again. It was then that we got into a whole argument with them because we had mold and they said we didn’t. It was once again not until we involved parents that they would actually begin to do anything about it, which mind you all they did was rip up the flooring and give us a dehumidifier, and they said it was fixed. I AM ALLERGIC TO MOLD BY THE WAY!!! Even after I told them I was suffering from health issues because of the mold all they did was come spray it down with some chemicals and called it a day. One of the managers even tried to tell me that my health declining was because of the dust. I did SEVEN mold test to prove them wrong, four surface test and three air quality test, and every single one came back positive, I then showed it to the maintenance man and he tried to tell me that those test “don’t work” and that if I were to use one on him it would come back positive, THIS WAS A 40 YEAR OLD MAN! Also at some point during all of this they came to check for another leak, brought plumbers and everything, well when they left apparently they didn’t put the drain hose BACK IN THE DRAIN and when I went to do laundry later that night it flooded. They had said nothing to me or any of my roommates about it other than when they came in they said not to run the water for thirty minutes while they were there and I tried to do laundry a couple hours after they had left. This place is not worth the $600-700 rent they charge each person. Basically to sum it all up we had multiple issues that they blatantly disregarded or refused to even acknowledge unless we involved our parents or they just straight up never addressed it. Whoever moves into apt 110 next just know you will have mold!

I have lived at Student Quarters for the past year and I am releasing for this upcoming school year. I cannot say enough incredible things about my expereince at Student Quarters. Student Quarters used to have not the best reputation and some poor reviews in the past, but I believe it currently truly has addressed every single concern that was raised. I originally was terrified to live off-campus, due to some very poor reviews at most apartments nearby. Though, I believe that SQ has made incredible improvements to breakthrough a once poor reputation in the past. I LOVE David McInturff, the Supervisor Maintenance Man, he is SO kind and helpful!! Student Quarters has been an incredible home for me, and presented me no critical issues. I have really enjoyed the Buc Shot, the security, and the ease of living here as a student. My only recommendations is that it's tennants are required to be ETSU students, as to avoid rooming with a grown adult who is not a student. I have loved my experience at SQ!!!

Great property, with a lot of amenities! They did a lot of upgrades this past summer that I loved! The staff always goes above and beyond when helping with any sort of issue. They also have some of the most affordable prices in the area. I cannot recommend SQ enough!

I will try to put this as professional and kind as I can. While living in Student Quarters ONLY for 3 months now (took over a lease in March), I have only experienced very minor issues, such as unnecessary amounts of mold growing and parking, but the apartment itself has been pretty normal. My issue unfortunately revolves around the leasing aspect. I moved in in march, which was very simple process and the individual who worked with us was very kind. But as I went to renew my lease in April, I was denied because they already gave my room away. While I understand that SQ is constantly having people in and out, it is pretty frustrating to already have your room be given away in a month, or probably like 2 days after signing my lease. When I went to the leasing office to ask the office what to do in this situation, the individual working showed no interest in my concern, and informed me I would have to take over ANOTHER lease for the fall AND they had no openings. So now I have to apartment hunt all over again and be moved out of my apartment I was only able to enjoy for what will initially be 5 months. I find the renewing lease process to be very disrespectful to the people already living in the units.

Where do I start Move in conditions nasty - dirty floors nasty fridge floors sticky black hand prints on the walls etc etc Let them know they came in painted over the mess and said they would be back to clean the floors and never returned My daughter has lived here 11 days In those 11 days the water heater has went out TWICE flooded the floor down the hallway And then yesterday the toilet in the apartment above over flowed and she had toilet water leaking through her ceiling see video Trying to get out of this lease I think they owe me my money back DO NOT RENT HERE
