Solis Isla Vista, isla-vista-cal

As a returning UCSB student, I really appreciated how easy the Solis team made the leasing process. Since my family is on the East Coast, great communication was incredibly important, and they were responsive, helpful, and professional every step of the way. Sabado Tarde is an amazing property!

My daughter is currently living at Solis on Trigo Road, and overall, it is a good experience for her and her three roommates. For anyone looking for off-campus housing near UCSB, this is a very solid recommendation. The Space: They shared a 2-bedroom unit upstairs that was surprisingly bright and quiet—two things that are hard to come by in the middle of IV! The balcony is a good add-on, adding some nice outdoor space to the living area. Management & Maintenance: This is where Solis really shines. The manager, Ava, is incredibly professional, helpful, and friendly. She made the day-to-day management feel very organized, which gave us a lot of peace of mind, especially when I reached out with questions or concerns. Maintenance was also top-notch, shoutout to the team for being quick and efficient whenever a request was put in. The Location: You can't beat being in the heart of Isla Vista. It’s walkable to campus and the beach, which was perfect for her schedule. One Small Catch: The only real downside is the parking lot. It is exceptionally narrow, and there isn't much space between the parked cars. It can be very tricky to maneuver, especially for new drivers or those with larger vehicles. If you have a car, just be prepared for a tight squeeze! Summary: Safe, professional, and well-maintained. We definitely recommend Solis for any UCSB students looking for a stress-free rental experience.

Solis was massively helpful in finding my group the perfect spot for next year! Ava was especially incredible in accommodating all of our unique needs. Overall appreciate her and the whole process!

Absolutely incredible, as someone who has had past struggles with housing in Isla Vista, Ava and the Solis staff were incredibly refreshing. Ava and staff made the process extremely efficient for the customer, being both responsive and understanding despite multiple bumps in the road. Highly recommend Solis, especially for those who have had past housing struggles in the area.

Overall, this is a good place. Life is very convenient for students, and it is very close to the school and many restaurants. At the same time, the apartment property here is very friendly and deals with problems in a timely manner. But a little beauty is that the light in the apartment will be a little worse at night. Then there is no air conditioning in the apartment (but there is basically no air conditioning in the apartment in this area, which has little impact on actual life)
