Vie Towers, hyattsville-md

I’m a parent of a Junior at Howard University & I just wanted to comment on the welcoming & accommodating service that was provided to us by the Guest Relations staff, Randy Delgado. Mr. Delgado was such a joy to interact with. Very patient in making sure to answer questions & give thorough information to any inquiries we had. Also, good communication skills, with prompt responses & feedback to keep us on track. What a great first impression for Vie Towers!

Do NOT fill out an application to live here. I lived here from 2024-2026, and this has been hands down the worst part of my Howard experience. When I was a sophomore, the building was deemed uninhabitable for almost an entire week. We did not have air conditioning, access to running water, and the elevators did not work. All they did was give me a couple hundred dollars off of my rent, a $200 gift card, and some soggy brunch in the cafe area. Also, my sophomore year they notified me that I had a week to find somewhere else to stay for a week because they needed to do some repairs in my unit. When I got back, I found out they were repainting because my previous roommates had complained about mold from continuously getting sick. Additionally, they consistently either lost my packages or would give them away to other residents. For example, I ordered a package in November 2024 and they gave it to me October of 2025 after almost a year later when they swore up and down that they never received the package. Towards the end of my junior year, a shuttle driver punched a girl unprovoked. I just moved out a month ago, my roommates and I were hit with $300 in fees because they claimed that we had damaged the couch and chair in the common area. We had put on couch and chair covers because when we arrived the furniture was falling apart and building would never replace it. Miss. Mary was the only one I can say was truly helpful. I genuinely feel bad for everyone that just signed their lease. Good luck.

I LOVE living at Vie Towers now. I used to hate it but the new staff that started last year (& Shákaya from before) changed EVERYTHING! We used to ALWAYS have issues with water, power, and electricity going out as well as constant false fire alarms & even had our building deemed uninhabitable at one point. NONE of this has happened since the crew changed. Now the building runs smoothly and the atmosphere is SO much better! There’s more events now on the social lounge that are so fun and engaging and make me want to stay here. The staff is so warm and welcoming that I can’t help but drop by the offices to say hey to them whenever I can. My favorite employees are SháKaya, Hezzy, Renesha, and Randy. They always address my concerns and have even been so patient and kind at times when I was frustrated with figuring out leasing options. This team handles pressure so well— they honestly deserve a raise! Even when other residents are upset or rude when needing help, they still serve each of us with love and care. Renesha has even seen me upset and handled me with care nonetheless. I’m so grateful for such good staff and hope they continue to work here. Thank you for getting our building back in shape!

Living at Vie Towers has been one of the most positive housing experiences I’ve had. The building itself is modern, very clean, and clearly well cared for. The amenities add a lot to everyday living and make the space feel more than just typical student housing. The apartments are roomy and thoughtfully designed, with plenty of natural light and finishes that make the space feel comfortable and home-like. It’s easy to settle in and actually enjoy spending time there. Another big advantage is the location. Being so close to the metro, the mall, and stores like Target makes running errands and getting around incredibly easy. The staff members are also a standout. They’re friendly, helpful, and quick to respond whenever something comes up. The shared spaces are perfect for studying, relaxing, or spending time with friends, and the community overall feels safe and welcoming. For anyone looking for a place that combines comfort, convenience, and a great living environment, Vie Towers is definitely worth considering.

I had a great experience due to the AMAZING staff. Namely Shakaya. She was super helpful and professional with a bubbly personality that jumps at you. She made my entire experience memorable and I will definitely send people her way moving forward!
