Unfortunately there is no 0 star option, but i cannot stress this enough that I would NOT recommend this apartment complex to anybody going to Sam Houston state University or living in Huntsville texas. There is so much that I can complain about but I am hoping people can take the time to read this so i will keep it short. First, Rent is a scam, during my tour i expected to pay about $500-600 for rent but instead I pay $720 a month for what?? Trashcan fees, that they do not pick up on time but they are so quick to fine you when your trashcan is out past a certain time. The complex is run by a whole bunch of rude teenagers vaping in the leasing office so that should say enough in itself. don't get me started on virtual assistant Liam, You wont be able to contact with anyone ever so find some time out of your day to go down to the leasing office with any concerns ( if they're open) Maintenance will take 3-5 business days to come unclog your broken sink. The ONLY worker that is locked in is the sweet cleaning lady who I am sure is underpaid. "Student housing" but can't provide stable wifi for us to do work. No cameras in the parking garage so if you get hit, or the garage door hits your car they will basically tell you that you're SOL. and on top of all of that it stinks, bad. If i can redirect someone to ANY OTHER APARTMENT COMPLEX, then I have done my part and can move on knowing i have saved someone the trauma.

Very scammy apartment. Mid way through my lease I started paying $120 more than I used to and nothing has changed. Maintenance never actually shows up to fix anything. Never any wifi. Always locked out because they don’t mention they are going to “fix the keys.” Not a safe place to live considering the gates are always broken so they leave them open but coincidentally it’s when they keys are not working so you have to leave your door cracked open so you’re not locked out. A lot of rude staff. Elevators are out of order often. Literally stay far away from living here. It was great when it was Sterling Union but Lark is dumb as hell and ruined everything.

If it wasn’t so inconvenient and expensive to move out me and all my roommates would have done so a long time ago. The WiFi has been out for a month and I’m still told it won’t be back on till next week. Which btw is when classes start not to mention nursing school started already. I swear if I can’t get on my computer in MY OWN STUDENT LIVING APARTMENT because of this wifi issue on Monday I’m going to be a lot more than just upset. On top of that me and my roommates have been locked out countless times. Sometimes just because they reset the keys and everything stops working. I’ve had roommates have to drive 2 hours back home just to have somewhere to sleep for the night because the lockout team won’t answer if it’s not office hours. Which are only like 8-6 M-F too. So better not get locked out on the weekend. I’ve had to leave work early to get my key fixed because I knew I would be locked out the whole weekend if I didn’t do it by six. I saw another review about the flea problem in the dog park and they’re absolutely right. It is impossible to keep your dog flea free here. On top of that there’s only one cleaning lady who also only works M-F. I know she’s really doing her best and I’m sure everyone agrees. The halls get disgusting because it is not realistic for every hall in a 5 story building to be swept and mopped everyday by one person. Maintenance people are super nice and great at their job but our air filter has only been changed once in a year and a half of being here. The horrible airflow in the rooms not only makes some rooms super hot and others super cold but also makes dust collect everywhere. I’ve never seen more dust in my life. I have to vacuum my walls at least once a week and that is ridiculous. And the parking garage gates are always broken so if you’re banking on this being a safe complex, don’t. On top of all of that when I first signed my rent was $495 for a 4 bedroom each month in the penthouse apartment (we got a free upgrade because they ran out of the other units). My rent is now at least $568 a month and one month is was randomly $963. I swear they add all these charges and make it super confusing because we are students and aren’t going To fight it. If I’m going to be paying that much and be scammed out of my money and time I better be getting the best apartment experience ever and this is far from it. The reason I’m even writing this review is because I’ve been dealing with that for 2 years already and I just got an email saying they’re testing fire alarms on the first day of class. I understand it’s required but this is simply poor planning. There can be so much stress during the school year and especially the first day. There is no reason this fire alarm inspection couldn’t have been done over winter break when everyone was home or at least there were no classes. I am fed up and it pisses me off knowing that even after I leave I’m probably going to get scammed out of some BS cleanup fee at the end when honestly I should be getting paid for living here still and putting up with this.

This is the worst apartment to move into in Huntsville. These people are so stupid. The gym machines don’t work and have liquids on them. The outside has dog urine everywhere and when it gets hot it smells. There’s trash everywhere. Management has been the worst. Cameras in the parking garage do not work so when people damage your car you can’t do anything about it. This whole experience has been nothing but anger. I hope they get shut down. Lack of communication and add on bills and fees with out letting people know.

WARNING! Don’t live here!!! The hallways are always dirty and it stinks in the parking garage and hallways frequently. Beware that even if your car is registered and your parking pass isn’t completely visible they will tow your car. They make you pay a $250 fee to get your car back even if you live here, even if your car is registered, and you pay rent. Also, the utility bills are too much especially considering this is supposed to be “student housing”. The company is extremely money hungry!!!
