Good morning! I just have to take a moment to shout out Mrs. Debra from the Forrest Gate Apartments Management team—where do I even start? I was once homeless, feeling lost and out of options. I was just 19 years old, starting my first real job, and no one would take a chance on giving me a place to stay in Huntsville without draining my entire paycheck. But Mrs. Debra stepped in—she welcomed me with open arms, giving me more than I ever could have hoped for. She provided a space that felt like home, complete with brand new appliances, and she took the time to spray and inspect the place over and over again—even after it had already become my dream come true. Those two years flew by in the blink of an eye, and now I’m ready to graduate into my own big boy space. I’m happily married, full of hope, and excited for what’s next. And I know I couldn’t have done it without her kindness and support. Whether it’s late-night maintenance calls, or her being readily available to replace keys or laundry cards any day of the week—her professionalism is rare, her dedication unmatched, and her care genuine. Words can't explain how awesome this place is!!! I was in a very unfortunate situation and they had my back all the way through. Ms Debra told me not to worry about a thing and that everything will be okay. Her and ms Sarah are truly gods people and I am soooo grateful for them! They were not only very understanding and reassuring but they made me feel safe as well they're both very sweet as well very family oriented and have beautiful hearts. Ms Sarah stayed on top of everything and kept me updated every day! If weren't for these two amazing women idk what i would've done. This is definitely a place I would recommend my friends or family members especially women who have been in traumatic situations as I have please come here! We lived at Forest Gate Apartments for two years and absolutely loved it. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and quick to take care of any issues. The apartments themselves are newly refinished, clean, and very well kept. It’s a quiet community — no loud parties or riff raff, which we really appreciated. The rent is fair for the area, and the peaceful atmosphere made it feel like home. If you’re looking for a safe, comfortable, and well-managed place to live, we highly recommend Forest Gate Apartments!

Property is great lived here for 6 months. Always clean. Maintenance is great and office staff is quick to help.

This was the first apartment me and my partner had, and we are very disappointed with our experience. The staff was always unprofessional and rude. There’s a new hire, she is very kind but another worker who also lives at the apartments would always act like us coming in to PAY OUR RENT was such an inconvenience to her. The only time she was respectful to me was when I turned in my move out notice. Neighbors are nosy and let their kids scream outside I can hear them from the other side of my apartment. Neighbors kids were always screaming and kicking our bedroom wall, downstairs neighbor would always play extremely loud music into late hours, I could feel it as well. The pests were out of control. Saw rats the size of my hand, found three in our apartment and roaches that would come from our neighbors. The actual construction of the building did not feel like it was worth paying 900 dollars a month for, dishwasher was always broken and so was the a/c. There was always poop outside on the sidewalk, sometimes I wasn’t sure if it was dogs or human. The only thing that was regularly kept up with was the pools (after they locked it because it was green) and the landscaping. Last thing was the parking. In order to get a parking spot outside of your apartment you have to pay a parking fee, if not you have to park in one of the free spots. Which would be fine but the free spots were always taken. God forbid we get home late and all the spots are taken but we couldn’t park in the reserved spots (where we’re mostly all open besides the three people who pay for it) so we had to park somewhere else completely and walk. It’s good for a first apartment but I would of rather had not had to deal with the pests or the borderline abuse I could hear next door.
