Absolutely would not recommend. Due to negligent landlords a beautiful young woman lost her life days before graduation. They paired a 23 year old woman with a 40 year old man who had a detailed past of violence. There had been multiple reports of police being called to the residence but for some reason there was no sense of urgency to resolve the poorly paired roommates. To all the young women out there please do your due diligence because obviously people do not care enough to do the work they promised. RIP Tami God bless her soul 🤍

If I could leave a zero star review I would. How could yall match up a 40 year old man with a 23 year old woman to be roommates and not bother to check background history. Because of yalls negligence , a woman lost her life days before her big day and everything was ripped from her. Yall failed her horribly!!! She trusted that she would be in. A safe environment!!!

If you're searching for off-campus student housing rest assured you don't need to look any further. I needed housing two weeks before the start of school, because of an unexpected change, and Jamil saved the day. I highly recommend For A Place To Live. Let me tell you about Jamil: he's warm and friendly--easy to work with, very cool guy. At the last minute, two weeks before my second year of law school commenced, Jamil had me in ultra nice one bed-room with updated everything two blocks from campus! When I moved in he was always only a text away, he makes himself available to you. Any request I have he addresses instantly, he treats you like family or an old friend. Jamil saved the start of my semester from being a potential disaster. Thank you Jamil.

Really affordable student housing next to UH and TSU, Jameel is great guy and is extremely helpful in accommodating you and making sure that your living situation is perfect. Would absolutely recommend this place to any student that goes to TSU or UH

I stayed with this property for over 5 years. Very satisfied with Jamil and everything he does . Beautiful properties and he cares so much about his residents! Would highly recommend to anyone !!
