My partner and I rented from him for one year and it was the worst rental experience we have had. We are notoriously good tenants, but Derek and his team were very difficult to work with. They tried to blame water issues that had obviously been going on for longer than our lease on us. When we had reached out to talk about issues in the apartment we were talked to in very condescending ways. We were very clean the entire time we lived there, and did a deep clean before moving out. We still lost a large amount of our deposit for their cleaning fees. Additionally, our apartment was dirty and there was no evidence it had been cleaned well before we moved in. I highly recommend avoiding renting from him if you can.

My son’s apartment was cleaner than when he moved in and they kept is security deposit for “hair in the sink”. Do not rent from them they will take advantage of your kids.

I have lived in 3 Bradway apartments over 4 years. The Bradway family and their work crews have always treated me very well. Maintenance requests are addressed quickly. I have moved between a few different properties and never had issues related to deposits. Reviewers complaining about unreturned deposits more than likely left properties in a state that justified a deposit not being returned. Derek keeps his word and is up front about expectations. If you rent from him, read your lease, ask questions if you don't understand something, and abide by the lease terms. Doing so will ensure a positive experience with Bradway Enterprises.

Houghton For Rent has been so wonderful to rent from. Every time something broke it was fixed promptly. The workers are respectful. Communication is answered quickly. Good people offering good service.

Derek has been a good landlord to work with. He addresses all concerns in a prompt and friendly manner. He also clearly communicates with residents about any changes that might occur. I plan on renting with him as long as I’m at MTU.
