The Chelsea, hattiesburg-ms

I have lived here at The Chelsea Apartments for two years now and can honestly say deciding to rent here has been one of the best decisions I’ve made in regard to apartment living. The grounds are well-maintained and the maintenance department is top notch. The clubhouse, fitness center, and pool are fantastic and the staff frequently host wonderful, fun events for the tenants. All these amenities and services are supervised under the direction of our property manager, Mr. Richard Crawford, and I cannot commend him enough for his leadership, friendly and approachable professionalism, his prompt attention to tenants’ needs and concerns, and his overall supervision of the entire complex. He has been the best property manager of any apartment complex I’ve lived in four states. We are fortunate to have him here and I’m thankful we do. Again, choosing The Chelsea two years ago was the best decision I made when I moved back to Hattiesburg.

I was exploring Hattiesburg and checking Out the various places I could stay in the future and I walked in to the Chelsea. I met a girl named Cinnamon who gave me a tour, and she was the most friendly girl! The apartments are great and so nice. Im gonna stay there soon ☺️

My apartment tour guide cinnamon green was very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. They took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all my questions, and made the entire tour feel comfortable and stress-free. I really appreciated how patient and informative they were, and they made sure I understood all the details about the apartment and amenities. Overall, it was a great experience and definitely made me feel confident about choosing this place.

If I could give Chelsea Apartments zero stars, I absolutely would. This has been one of the worst renting experiences I’ve ever had, and I would never recommend living here. From the very beginning, it felt like all I got was the runaround. Every time I had a question or concern, I was bounced from one person to another with little to no resolution. Communication was frustrating, and it often felt like no one wanted to take responsibility for fixing issues. One thing that really stood out to me was how much they seemed to focus on getting people to sign leases. You’ll see promotions like “Sign now and get one month free” or “Get $500 for every person you refer.” In my opinion, they spend more time trying to attract new tenants with incentives than making sure their current residents are happy. I wish they put the same energy into maintaining the property and addressing residents’ concerns. Throughout my time there, I felt like making money was the priority rather than providing quality customer service or creating a comfortable place to live. That was extremely disappointing. If you’re apartment hunting, my advice is to keep looking. There are plenty of places that will value you as a resident instead of making you feel like just another lease. Based on my experience, I wouldn’t recommend Chelsea Apartments to my friends, family, or anyone searching for a new home. Do yourself a favor and thoroughly research this place before signing anything. I genuinely wish I had.

Pearlz is the best leasing agent in the office! She was friendly, professional, and made the whole leasing process so easy. She answered all my questions and was always quick to help whenever I needed anything. I definitely recommend working with her!
