My child really enjoyed living at The Hills Northview in Harrisonburg. The community is quiet, clean, and feels very safe, which has made it such a comfortable place to live. The apartments are spacious and well-kept, and anytime they've needed maintenance, the team has been quick, professional, and helpful. One of the best parts about living here is the management team. Everyone has been friendly, responsive, and genuinely caring whenever I’ve had questions or concerns. The location is also super convenient — close to JMU, shopping, and restaurants, while still being peaceful and relaxing. Overall, it’s been a great experience living here, and I would definitely recommend The Hills Northview to anyone looking for a welcoming and comfortable place for their child to call home in Harrisonburg!

I have loved living at Northview this year! IIf I wasn't graduating I would have 100% resigned. Office staff are always super nice and helpful and maintanance is usually very very quick. I've made lots of use of the amenities like the tanning beds, free printing, and clubhouse lounge area. Highly recommend for any other JMU student looking for housing!

I would never rent from them again. Yeah, it might be cheap, but our apartment flooded twice from broken pipes, our ceiling fell in (which took them 4 months to ‘fix’ fyi), there were 3 types of asthma inducing mold, none of the appliances worked. Sometimes the heat and air conditioning would stop working. Our fridge never stayed cold. The stove leaked gas. The doors never worked. and then, after all of that, they had the audacity to charge me for the blinds that the handyman broke when they fixed our sliding glass door. When our washer broke and flooded everything it took them many weeks to get us a new one, and they were very unkind about it as if the old one being practically duct taped was our fault. 0/10. go somewhere else. Also they towed my car when I had a valid pass and were like ‘oopsies’ and I had to pay for it back and they didn’t care and refused to pay even though it was their fault they had given me the wrong pass to begin with.
