Copper Beech has truly exceeded all of my expectations.The community is clean, safe, and incredibly well-maintained, and the amenities make day-to-day living so convenient. My apartment is spacious and modern which truly feels like a home, not just student housing. What really sets Copper Beech apart though is the staff. They go above and beyond for residents every single day, whether it’s answering questions, solving issues quickly, or just being friendly faces in the office. Their professionalism, kindness, and dedication make such a huge difference. You can tell they truly care, and it shows in how smooth and positive the whole living experience is. Copper Beech is hands down one of the best places to live in Harrisonburg — I recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, reliable, and community-focused apartment complex. Living here has been nothing short of amazing! Kennedy is very helpful!!

I’ve lived at copper beech for the past two years and have had the best experience. They have so many amenities and everyone is so friendly! The maintenance team is by far THE BEST! Special shoutout to Bruce, and Tyree! They are by far the nicest and most understanding people I’ve ever come across! They always make sure to do the best job!

This is my second year living at Copper Beech Townhomes, and I can honestly say I love living here. One of the biggest reasons I decided to renew was how responsive and reliable maintenance has been. Any time I’ve put in a maintenance request, it’s been handled quickly and efficiently, which makes a huge difference when you’re living off campus. I also want to shout out the staff, especially Kiera. I had a phone call with her when I had a question about my unit, and she was incredibly kind, patient, and helpful.

I’ve been very impressed with the leasing office, especially Madison Jeffery. She is professional, organized, and consistently helpful. Requests are handled promptly, and she maintains a positive, respectful demeanor at all times. A great representative for the community.

On the outside this place seems great, but logistics it’s a nightmare. On top of the extreme lack of communication, they have both been very inconsistent. Multiple times they have not told me big things they are going to do like getting rid of my stairs so I didn’t have a way to enter my apartment, only after contacting them multiple times was I able to get an answer for what I was supposed to do. They had ed a ramp in the back but my keys didn’t unlock our back door. Our mailbox has been broken and they have not fixed it, as well as a few appliances they have claimed to fix. Recently they have separated utility bills from rent bills and are expected to pay two fees on top of that rather than one. In move out I was charged with damages that were damaged before I moved in. They said that there was no documentation when I moved in so there was no way to prove I didn’t do those damages. They said that on move in there was a google form about damages to report and that would be my only way to list what was damaged when I moved in but I never received such form to fill out. There are cheaper and nicer places all around, take the other options.
