I’ve really enjoyed living at The Province. The apartments are spacious and the amenities are great. The location is convenient and close to campus. The staff is friendly and helpful whenever I need assistance. Overall, it’s been a great place to live, and I would recommend it to other students.

DO NOT LIVE HERE!!!!!! (you get a gift card if you write a good review and I don’t care) * Safety is your biggest concern, ESPECIALLY if you are a woman. There are ZERO security cameras anywhere on the property other than one at the office. Our own car was broken into, and we witnessed 5+ separate incidents in just one year of people checking car door handles or attempting to break into vehicles. We’ve also been followed up to our apartment door by homeless individuals and approached for money inside the complex. Resident safety has NEVER been a priority obviously. * Parking is NON EXISTENT. Residents pay a ridiculous amount for parking, yet there are HALF as many parking spaces as apartments—I actually counted them once out of genuine frustration. You can’t even leave for 10 minutes without risking losing your spot because people literally have to wait in the lot for someone to leave. Guest parking actually doesn’t exist (that one isn’t an over exaggeration), so visitors like PARENTS have to risk being towed. There are also parking spots you’re somehow just expected to know not to use despite little or no signage (I found that out after my own car was towed). Meanwhile, cars without parking permits regularly fill the lot because towing is rarely enforced and if it is, I’ve seen more residents get towed than non-residents. * The buildings are cheaply built and poorly maintained. There are HUGE cracks throughout the ceilings, walls, and molding that visibly shift when upstairs neighbors walk. You can literally see daylight through gaps around the front door because it isn’t properly sealed and a ridiculous amount of bugs get in due to that. The walls are paper-thin and you can hear conversations from neighboring apartments, stairwells, and even downstairs or upstairs neighbors. Other nightmares we experienced: * Roaches were a HUGE problem due to them regularly getting into the apartment through the gaps around the front door. Numerous holes in all window screens as well, also allowing bugs in. * I have seen the washer violently shake enough to MOVE ITSELF ACROSS the laundry room even with a tiny load, and the dryer takes multiple cycles just to dry a few clothes. * The kitchen sink has NO water pressure and takes around 15 minutes for the water to get warm. You’re better off washing dishes in the bathroom sink somehow. * The Wi-Fi constantly went out and was EXTREMELY unreliable considering this is a COLLEGE apartment complex. We kinda really need that stuff guys.. * The provided furniture was VERY poor quality. Our couch started cracking and ripping within a month to the point you have to put something down to be able to sit comfortably, and the blinds fall apart from simply opening or closing them. * The pool was nice when it was open, but it was closed frequently and closed insanely early, especially on summer holidays or really warm days when you’d think it would be booming. The gym is very small with limited equipment, there’s more treadmills than anything else. It’s also a solid 80° constantly in the gym room even with the fans on. * The maintenance staff were friendly, but they ALWAYS entered after only a few knocks, barely even waiting at the door, with most of the time ZERO notice, you don’t even get to wake up fully before they’re already in your apartment.. not fun for girls considering maintenance is all men. Only 1 out of 4 roommates actually got adequate maintenance service with most of our other roommates things still being broken even days before our move out date. * The leasing office was extremely difficult to reach by phone, even calls made during the hours that they are open were never answered. * The random roommate process is AWFUL and gives you no information, not even a name, on your new roommate until just a few days before move-in. * Rent is far too expensive considering the condition of the property. The only real advantage is being close to campus. Bonus picture of the disgusting air vent in the living room. (I personally was not a tenant but I am writing on behalf of one)

So Far this has been a good place for my daughter. It is a clean complex and the apartment have been in good condition. It is not perfect, but better and closer to campus than other things we had found. My daughter feels safe and secure here. The facilities are nice. The staff has been responsive and kind to her.
