If I could rate this complex 0 stars I would. You're charged a monthly fee for amenities yet majority of the time they aren't functional. The trash chute has only been open for ~3 months total out of the 2 years I lived here. There's bugs everywhere in this complex, from beetles and roaches to spiders they're in the halls, in the apartments, and in the air vents. The hallways and elevators are always covered with mysterious substances that are sticky and smell disgusting. The heating in my unit was broken for over a month and their solution was 2 small space heaters that smelled like smoke when turned on and were unusable leaving us to still live in the cold until WITN came out and covered the situation. Also, don't even think about feeling safe as 99% of the time the access doors around the building that are supposed to be key access only are constantly broken and left opened/unlocked for anyone to walk in and their solution is to make them exits only making it harder for anyone in the basement to access their apartment. Overall, if you want a clean, safe, nice place to live don't do it here. Management is constantly changing and new policies are added/removed almost daily. Edit because they replied: At the end of the reply, they recommend reaching out about any issues so they can be resolved, however, I personally emailed the manager multiples time, my roommate tried as well, but when we asked for someone else to talk to because she wasn't fully helping us she stopped replying and ignored our attempts to reach out. The Scion Group that's supposed to own the complex doesn't handle issues, and apparently she doesn't either from her lack of responses. I just want to know WHO to talk to so we can actually have a resolution to something that happened beginning in December of LAST YEAR.

My favorite youngest barely adult moved to First Street Place from Elizabeth City, NC with their partner in crime aka Maverick, The Mav-Man, Mavin-o. The complex was overall clean(inside & out), tidy, ensured my youngest(& Maverick's) safety, package delivery was spot-on, there were no issues with bugs nor any heating/ac issues. The elevator did not work from time to time, however that would merely prime one's legs for the hop/skip/jump to the parking lot down the hill! Maverick was always in need of cardio so the stairs & hill were not all together bad! Employees were kind, gracious, knowledgeable of the building/rules & knew some of the immediate area. The staff also knew most animal residents by name!

Spider infestation, water quality issues, and the front desk guy has no desire to be helpful or friendly in any way. He gave attitude when we asked for a parking pass. He is also seeming to do everything he can to keep us from talking to the property manger about money charged that shouldn't have been. Seems very shadey. There are way better managed properties in Greenville than this.

Me and my roommates needed our water heater replaced, and Jack did an amazing job! Jack was quick, reliable, and professional, and maintenance is always fast to respond whenever we need help. We really appreciate the great service!

If I could give this place a lower rating I will. On the outside of this apartment it looks good but on inside there is so much problems. When I first moved into my unit there was a dead roach in the kitchen. This place has a serious infection of them I found one almost everyday. The next issue I had with them is that they had a mold problem. I included pictures so that you can see it for yourself. The mold in this place ruin most of my clothes, items, and I felt like my health deteriorate because of it. The next issue is that the trash shoot room is nasty. Some of the residents here just throws the trash on the ground instead of throwing it into the shoot. I felt like management just cleans it when people are about to move in which was like twice a year. If you think about studying for class or sleeping early in your apartment don't do it because some of your neighbors are rude and not courteous of other people who live there. They will be playing loud music, slamming things so hard that your apartment shakes, and be skateboarding in the halls. This happen frequently when I was there and at odd hours like between 12am - 2am. And it doesn't matter how much you complain to management about it. They tell you that they told them but the problems still continues. Some residents here be smoking in the staircase too and its not the legal kind of smoking. Also, it located right next to the railroad where the train pass every night honking its horn. There is so much problems with this place I cant even list them all: pet urine in the hall, being nickel and dime for many thing, the printer is always out of ink when you need it, and the fire alarm goes off randomly couple of times in a semester...So if you like to live in a chaotic apartment this place is for you but my recommendation to you is to avoid this place like the plague.
