Only putting 5 stars because Lashay is actually a queen. Love love love my girl down, only reason I'm staying. DON'T EVER SPEAK TO THE REGIONAL. HES RUDE, CONDESCENDING, NOT FOR THE RESIDENTS. The new manager is better than Kimberly by far but kind of the same as the big boss (heartless.) The apartment is cool, spacious and decent amenities, pet friendly. Could be a really great place if they knew how to actually care about the residents.

Lived at campus pointe long enough to go through the multitude of office staff. Haley and Zack (my shaylas) were great, very supportive and fought for us when her boss didn’t. Them and Lashay would be the dream team for this office. The old manager I think her name was Miranda was so condescending and she had a haircut that just added to my rage with her. Her and the old maintenance tech who was old and bald were just awful people. The bald black maintenance guy was cool, did his job. Kimberly was a mess, she was hardly ever in the office. Nothing really ever got done and I guess her boss was like the only one that could make decisions ?? Lashay is my absolute heart, I’ve never experienced someone like her before not just in a professional setting. She has sat with me on her lunch when my dad passed just to talk to me and support me. She has gotten me food on a month I was struggling. She helped me find resources for my brother who was homeless and now he’s in a facility, sober all because she researched and made calls. What kind of person does that? I don’t know why they didn’t make her the property manager but I really hope that she knows no matter what her mess of a management company thinks or says that she is a top tier person and I hope she knows the residents at Campus Pointe has her back. The apartments are nice but they’re nicer when the bosses actually fix the issues and not bandaid them.

Im absolutely thrilled to be here! Lashay is such a big help!! She went above and beyond to help out me and my roomate! she stayed and helped us out with cleaning and moving in even after the office was closed!! She really treated us like family within a few days of even knowing us!!

UPDATE: Changing my review after getting a taste of management. When Lydia and Mackenzie were there, everything was wonderful. Since we’ve underwent new management, the place has gone downhill. The manager literally acts like she doesn’t want her job and is poor at communication. The receptionist staff is nice, but it’s clear that they don’t understand how their policy works. Hopefully things will improve over the next couple months and management will get it together. I've been a CP for about 1 1/2 and I truly enjoyed my stay here. The complex is super quiet, and I never feel unsafe when I come home at night. The front office people are super sweet and helpful and they're always ready to help when needed. The maintenance people are also superb. My unit was having issues every single week and maintenance would come as many times as needed to solve those issues. Despite being the only two people, they definitely get things done! The location of the apartment is very convenient as well. It's super close to ECU (with a shuttle that picks you up from the apartments) and there are grocery stores and restaurants that are 1-3 minutes walking distance as well. I truly have enjoyed my stay here and I hate that I can't stay for longer (I've graduated and plan to find a job out of state) but if you are considering living here, I HIGHLY recommend that you check it out.

When I arrived to tour the property with my daughter, Lashay was in the middle of a busy day, helping a tenant in crisis and managing a stack of files. Still, she greeted us with kindness and composure, and gave a tour that was not only thorough, but filled with honesty and a deep, genuine care for the place she clearly takes pride in. What stood out most wasn’t just her professionalism, but her heart. As a mother, nothing matters more than knowing my daughter will be living somewhere she’s not just safe, but supported. Lashay made me feel that even in a brief visit. She gave us her full attention when she didn’t have to, and it spoke volumes about the kind of person she is. I’ve worked in property management for many years, and people like Shay are rare. She’s a natural. I hope she receives as much love and support as she gives from her residents, her many cats, and her team. From the bottom of my heart, thank you, Shay. You gave a mother peace, and that means everything.
