I’m relieved to finally be able to post this review. I hope anyone considering moving here takes this as a serious warning: Do not live at The Vic. The conditions are appalling, and I wouldn’t wish my experience on anyone. On the very first day I received my keys, I walked into a unit that reeked of weed and cigarette smoke; odors that lingered for months, despite countless deep cleaning sessions on my part. The unit had clearly not been properly cleaned: there was human waste still in the toilets. When I requested a cleaning, someone showed up three hours later with a mop bucket, rags, and Clorox. That was it. I was shocked that I was paying $800/month for a unit in this condition. The patio was run-down, unusable, and it took months of repeated requests, and a shooting incident in the parking lot that involved me personally, for management to take any action. That night, I genuinely feared for my life while trying to park outside my own unit. Only after that traumatic experience did towing enforcement start improving. And then there’s maintenance: they perform “quarterly inspections” with a 10-day window between 8am–5pm. These visits feel like SWAT team raids: completely disruptive, with no regard for residents’ privacy or schedules. The pools? Closed year-round, even during sweltering summer months. I somehow lasted 10 miserable months before I was finally able to move out. I now live in a much cleaner, safer place; and it has lower rent. The contrast is night and day. To anyone thinking about moving here: don’t. Trust my experience, and save yourself the stress, health concerns, and trauma. There are far better options elsewhere. These pictures only really show a small bit of how horrendous my experience was, but I hope that they can help someone in the future making a decision on where to live.

I’ve really enjoyed living at this apartment complex! The community is clean, quiet, and well-maintained, and the management team is always friendly and responsive whenever I need anything. Maintenance requests are handled quickly, and the staff genuinely seem to care about the residents’ comfort. The amenities are a great bonus — the gym and pool are always in great condition, and the common areas feel safe and welcoming. I also love how convenient the location is, close to shopping, restaurants, and public transportation. Overall, it’s been a great place to call home. I’d definitely recommend this community to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-managed apartment with a positive atmosphere.

The Vic was the worst living experience ever they don’t even deserve one star. Every time I took my trash out there was 8-15 big New York rats outside every night. My friend had one in his bathroom vent and they said it wasn’t anything they could do about it because it was after hours. My homegirl even had rats in the wall in the 4x4s the living conditions was bad I had a hole in my ceiling and they never came and fixed it so every time it rained my whole floor was soaked and they didn’t care

My move in was a terrible experience when relocating from the 4x2 to the 2x1.5 we were told we couldn’t move in early due to people living there and they needed 2 weeks to clean and inspect the unit. On our move in date we arrived to a unit that looked as if no one lived there for a year, it was not cleaned prior with bugs everywhere and our dryer was not hooked up and our toilets are constantly breaking, when trying to call that day the shut the phone off and locked the clubhouse doors due to all of the complaints. The windows have no screens nor are they insulated it took 3 to 4 maintenance request for a new garbage disposal and the solution they give us for most of our problems are “don’t use it” or “heat rises”. I would not recommend anyone staying with the vic unless you have nowhere else to go.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Now that I have moved out, I can give a full review. The office staff either has a decent attitude or a terrible attitude. Upon move in my washer was filled with dirty water that was sitting since the last move out in February which left an odor in the apartment ( I moved in July). The cabinets were all scraped up. I was told that they are painted every other year. But it look like it hasn’t been painted in 5 years. The apartment was dirty when we moved in. There was hookah tips on the floor and juice bottle caps on the floor and hair in the bathrooms. Even my neighbors were talking about having to deep clean everything. Even after they sent cleaners (which held up the move in process) it still was dirty. Once moved in we attempted to connect to the wifi and was told by the guy that came to fix it that it hasn’t been installed since February. There was a still tv mounted to the wall ( that wasn’t functional). The shared walkway with neighbors would have trash, the light fixture fell and maintenance said they had other issues to fix first. I also had my car stolen ( in a different city) and was told I had to repay all fees for my keys and even a parking pass. There was no sympathy or anything just wanted payment and to collect money. Once my car was found and the keys were recovered, they still wanted me to return the old keys and I couldn’t get a refund for the new keys. The mailbox were left unlocked and open often. I would not recommend staying here.
