Love the working environment :) As a student the study rooms are top tier! Gardens Rooftop has the absolute best views in Isla Vista!!

Amazing staff, Zoe helped me feel better about my son’s freshman year. Definitely the best choice in Isla Vistas hectic student housing.

Parking is like a car vending machine my spot was broken for over three months. One of the workers told me that I have to park on the streets of IV while stilling having to pay for parking rent?!? Then once I came and talked to them because it was ridiculous they provided a temporary spot for about two weeks. Then told me to park in the electric vehicle spot and then THEY towed me from that spot and didn’t cover any of the payment. Room that we were showed was WAYYYYYY bigger than what we actually recieved which was a room that was barely livable for two people. Always construction happening even during finals. Staff is not very helpful (because they are also students) and management is rude. Dont try reaching out via email you will not get a response. They lost my roommates money orders for rent and then said they never received them and wanted new ones (they are very unorganized). Just find somewhere else to live as convenient as the location is. ALSO took over a month for u to receive our security deposit which I had emailed about multiple times and received absolutely no acknowledgment.

Living at The Icon has been such an amazing experience! One of the biggest highlights has been how incredibly helpful the staff are, especially Solana. She went above and beyond from the very beginning — she was so helpful during the tours, always made sure I had all the information I needed, and was super responsive whenever I had any questions. Solana truly made the whole process smooth and welcoming! The apartment itself has so many amazing amenities that made living here even better — a full gym, rooftop access with beautiful views, a study room perfect for getting work done, and so much more! I also loved how many community bonding events were always happening; it made it so easy to meet new people and really feel at home. I’m honestly going to miss living here so much. Thank you to everyone, especially Solana, for making The Icon such a great place to live!!

ICON is a great place to live, not just because of its close proximity to campus, but because the staff is truly amazing. The maintenance and office staff in particular are very helpful and extremely friendly. I want to shout out Esteban, Luis, Solana, Hannah, Alicia, and countless others for their help! The maintenance staff was always super nice and whenever we needed help they were there to assist. The office staff responded to emails and requests quickly, and were always willing to help. If you are looking for a welcoming home away from home, ICON apartments is the perfect place
