Flats on Elk, glendale-az

We’re so lucky to have the best manager — she’s dedicated, kind, and always supportive. She prepared Halloween gifts for all the tenants, which was so thoughtful of her. Thank you, Melody — you’re amazing, and we don’t want to move from here because of your professionalism and kindness!

Probably the best place I've rented from in regards to price and return value. -The area is ultra safe for me to walk with my 3 year old. It's also not a crowded neighborhood, so it'll feel like heaven if you're moving from West Los Angeles. -The people here keep to themselves but also aren't unusual. You can easily say hi and get a smile back (many are Armenian with not much English [Glendale], super friendly and respectful). -Looks like the neighbors are either people with kids or students. The kids are well mannered - Other than a few chunks of Armenian families, everyone is of different backgrounds. I highly doubt anyone will experience anything discriminatory getting the place or staying here. It's just a good crowd and status quo. -I've yet to encounter a party or too rowdy situation at the apartment and I've been here for more than half a year. -My daughter made friends with one of the neighbor's kids, so it's a quick break time fun activity for weekends. -If you follow protocol to filing an issue, they'll promptly send someone out the next day. -You'll see their crew here every once in a while in the morning doing maintenance or just cleaning. They're really good at introducing themselves once and then minding their own business (not parking in your spot, not coming in your home without permission, etc). My daughter loves saying hi to Louis (cleaning) and Gerry (handyman). They're super respectful and diligent with what they have to do, being organized, and getting it done once quickly. -They actually clean and maintain the place. -Melody that runs or owns Flats On Elk is ultra nice too. I had to find a place quickly and didn't quite have things lined up. Not only did I get a good deal, it was of a higher quality and lower price compared to another place we were looking at a few streets down. She's also a good listener and communicator. Her and Gerry are good about doing follow ups to make sure an issue is resolved. Only real issue I had was one high strung neighbor knocking on everyone's door at night because someone parked in her spot (but then again I've seen her park in three different spots). I believe she may have moved out, I haven't seen her here in a while.

I lived at this property for a year and it was a great experience. The management team respond quickly. The property is maintained well and clean. Neighbors are respectful and it is mostly families and students living at the property.
