Today around 6:30pm, this older white woman who is the security here at UFora just racially profiled me while I was quickly waiting for my Lyft to go to work which was a min away. I was sitting at the bench at the mailroom entrance for a min or 2 before this security guard quickly came from the parking garage area and asked me for my key fob. I told the lady that I lived here and I was leaving soon to go to my Lyft that was quickly approaching. I’m a black resident here at UFora and she only asked me for my key fob while others was leaving the mailroom entrance area and coming in, she never asked them for their key fobs. She only asked me for mines, this is second time I encountered her. I understand that the apartment has that ensure that only residents are here and not outsiders but to approach me out of nowhere. I don’t know if she was spying on me from the cameras but that was very disrespectful and disturbing. I shouldn’t have been treated that way and I will be reporting this incident tomorrow when the office opens. I pay too much in rent to experience the shit smell, broken mailroom door, dirty elevators, uncleaned unit when I moved in, disrespectful maintenance man, and more. I’m so glad that I will be leaving this apartment this Fall, this is very inappropriate for the security to only approach me like I don’t live here just because I was sitting at the bench waiting for my Lyft! Don’t move here!

DO NOT SIGN HERE. This place is a mess and it’s blatantly obvious that they just threw the place together. While I was gone today, MY MIRROR FELL OFF MY WALL. Also, before that, the front of one of my bathroom drawers just came off?? Also, maintenance came in my room without notifying me and left dirty handprints on my wall????? Oh, and of course they only installed 3/4 lightbulbs in my bathroom and told me they’d come put the fourth in. Spoiler alert: they did not. I am so serious do not live here unless you’re prepared for constant stress and things breaking. ALSO their package system is an absolute disorganized mess. They are constantly losing people’s packages and my one of my roommate’s packages was confirmed by the apartment to have been stolen but she never got any type of reimbursement or anything. The fact that they made us wait two months to move in after promising an early move in date just for the place to be a complete dump is insane.

My daughter has been living at UFORA for 2 years and we have been very happy. The management team is super responsive and friendly—maintenance requests are always handled quickly and professionally. I have never had issues with billing. The apartment itself is modern, clean, and well-maintained, with a great location - close to campus. One of my favorite things are the amenities: fully furnished, roof top pool, gym and quiet study areas. We would recommend Ufora to new Gators!

If I could give this place 0 STARS, I would. Management is horrible and completely unresponsive, even when residents report serious issues. There has been an awful rotten-egg smell on several floors of the building, and it made me physically ill. At one point, the odor was so overwhelming that I vomitted and had to leave my apartment for hours. Maintenance told me they believe something died in the ventilation system, yet they have made no effort to locate or remove it, allowing the smell to continue. The odor eventually spread into my dryer, so I couldn't wash my clothes. I have submitted countless maintenance requests and repeatedly tried to contact management, but I have received no response and no resolution. This is NOT a minor inconvenience, it’s a serious sanitation and health concern that management refuses to address. 🚨 DO NOT SIGN A LEASE HERE. 🚨

Been calling this place home for two years now, and honestly? I don’t see that changing anytime soon. It’s that good. The team here is top tier, genuinely kind, super helpful, and always on point. The building? Straight up beautiful. Sleek design, good vibes, and everything’s kept in pristine shape. I’m obsessed with the amenities: rooftop pool with views for days, a gym that actually motivates you to show up, a peaceful yoga room, and a lounge that feels more like a luxury hotel lobby. And don’t even get me started on the rooms, super spacious and designed to make you feel at home. Can’t recommend it enough.
