Pros: The rooms are spacious, the kitchen is nice, literally across the street from campus, covered parking. Cons: Walls are paper thin (you will hear everything going on within your unit and others), constant construction, raised rent It's alright. The pros are redeeming, but when I am woken up around 7 in the morning every day because of drilling, hammering, or someone on the construction team yelling, I cannot say it has been enjoyable. To add to that, I feel like I have no privacy at any time because of how thin these walls are. Anyone in the living room/kitchen can hear you from any room in the unit, and you can hear anyone in the living room/kitchen like they are right next to you.

Let me start by saying the leasing office staff here is absolutely amazing. This includes the managers. Literally every single one is helpful, kind, and really just very friendly. They are all great. I seriously wish I could leave a 5 star review because they are so great. It's just because of the construction that went on this past year. Construction workers everywhere blocking off all sorts of exits around the apartment. Every morning woken up at like 7:30am and it was so loud I couldn't sleep, could barely even hear the TV during the day. I'd wake up to the noise so early and it would be pitch black because our windows were boarded up from the outside. My room was pitch black for like 2 months. Boarded up windows. Like it could be 2pm and it would be pitch black in my room. You'd think it was midnight. Even the balcony door was closed. No natural light at all in the apartment. I had to leave the apartment to know what time of day it was. It sucked. I know the leasing office will see this and whoever it is, yall are great. I know almost all of you pretty well and yall are wonderful. But that was a horrendous year. I can live in some awful conditions I am not picky at all. But this was insane. Please don't take this personally. I will say... if anyone is thinking of living here, I definitely DO recommend it. Despite the 2 star rating, the construction was a one-time thing and won't happen again. It was horrible. Absolutely awful. But now that it's over, I see no issues with this place for future residents.

I would not recommend living here. First off they had staff and friends of staff write fake 5 star reviews to boost their Google rating (WOW?!) it is truly incredible how they want to deceive you. The management does not have your best interest in mind, and will violate lease terms regularly (by entering your apartment unannounced under reasons not listed in the lease). The hallways constantly smell like trash. They will place you in an apartment facing a wall with minimal light, and they also had all our windows blacked out (and yes I mean 100% blacked out for around 3 months.) They charge you for any inconvenience and do not reciprocate a good living environment. They are sneaky entering your apartment and will find at least 3 reasons to charge you hundreds of dollars of fees every year. Oh and also the elevators go out about 2 times per month (out for multiple days or weeks each time). Mold growing in your bathrooms, humidity problems, the list goes on. They are terrible.

I toured Social 28 after their recent remodel, and the upgrades to the pool and other areas look amazing! Our leasing associate, Haylee, gave us the tour and she was absolutely wonderful. She was highly knowledgeable, friendly, and made the entire experience seamless. Excellent vibes and top-tier customer service.

Social 28 has been a great apartment community, and my experience with the leasing office was especially positive. I went in with a lot of questions, and Bella was so helpful! She took the time to answer all of my questions, explain everything clearly, and make sure I understood the process. She was friendly, patient, and welcoming, which made the whole experience much less stressful. Thank you, Bella, for all your help and excellent customer service! 😊
