Highly Recommend – A True Gem Across from UO My daughter stayed at The Collegian while attending the University of Oregon, and I can confidently say this place is a gem. It’s clean, quiet, and safe—everything a parent could hope for in student housing. The daily homemade meals are a wonderful bonus and provide great comfort and convenience for busy students. Jeff, the manager, and his team go above and beyond. They are welcoming, friendly, and consistently supportive, with excellent communication. It truly feels like they care about each student’s well-being. I highly recommend The Collegian to any student looking for a high-quality, supportive, and well-located place to live during the school year or summer classes.

I cannot imagine a more welcoming and enabling experience for an out-of-town scholar than I experienced at the Collegian. I spent a wonderful month at The Collegian while conducting research at the University of Oregon, which is located steps away from The Collegian. Before my arrival, the manager responded quickly and thoroughly to my inquiries. My application was thoroughly reviewed, so I felt confident that I'd be living with responsible students, professionals, and visitors -- and I was not disappointed. I was welcomed by a cheerful RA, and throughout my stay both the staff and my fellow residents were gracious and engaging. Chef Michael deserves my particular thanks and praise. He cooked delicious, nutritious meals that also met my dietary restrictions. Michael is a talented and caring chef, and The Collegian is lucky to have him.

Son stayed here while attending UO. Super clean, quiet, safe. Underground parking garage with zero break ins while there. Offers good meals. Friendly, knowledgeable and available staff when needed. Always received timely correspondence. It was a supportive social and academic environment, that even rewarded tenants that maintained high GPAs. Highly recommend!!!

I lived at The Collegian for three years and I am so glad I did! Jeff is a wonderful manager and the RAs are always there to help you with whatever you need. The food is delicious, and is served seven days a week during the academic year and five days a week for most of summer. The whole atmosphere is strongly community oriented and I was able to get to know a lot of the residents really well, especially during meal times and RA activities. The location is convenient, as it is very close to the UO campus. All in all, I highly recommend The Collegian for anyone who is looking for a quiet place to live while attending college, while also finding great friends in the process.

After living here for two terms, I could not be happier with my choice to live at the Collegian while I attend the University of Oregon. This is the place where I can study and do my homework without distractions or loud neighbors, but I also can go downstairs to have a fantastic meal and to spend time with my friends that live in the building. The staff here is so kind and will help in you any way that they can. The kitchen staff is especially super helpful with accommodating for dietary needs and food allergies. The food here is also SO delicious! Chef Tommy always whips up an amazing weekly menu. It is so nice to come home from class to a hot meal and a smile. Personally, Chef Tommy and the kitchen staff have been so thoughtful with my own food allergy and they think of the best and most creative meals for me. The Collegian’s rooms here are spacious and come with HUGE closets, their own private bathroom, AND a balcony! These rooms are so much better and more spacious than the dorms. I really enjoy the Collegian and the community they have created here and I plan to come back next year! :)
