Provence Townhomes + Apartments, elon-nc

The apartment is big, but we've had water from the apartments above us 5 times in a year and a half, twice in the past month. We're leaving the state soon, but the most recent water issue is ongoing for almost a week. They're aware, they've seen it, they gave us a fan and a dehumidifier and haven't stopped the water. Its actually spreading. There's visible mold growing on the kitchen wall. We moved out of our bedroom on account of the mold and smell of dampness.

This team is TERRIBLE! I do not recommend, I have called multiple times to resolve an issue and they refuse to call me back instead they send me an email with the voicemails that I’ve left them attached to the email. I moved away from the area and if I ever moved back I would NEVER do business with them again. The regional manager Deidra is as equally unprofessional as the rest of the office. If I could give zero stars I would. I will most certainly be reaching out to the NCDOJ about this business and their shady business practices. I’ve left messages with multiple friends people with no call back. Grant, Ashley and again Deidra. Beware of Taft Management.

I previously rented a unit in Raleigh NC managed by Taft Family Ventures. While the location of this unit was excellent my experience with the management group themselves was extremely negative. I will say the maintenance staff contracted to address the plumbing issues within my unit were very pleasant. It seems as though this company preys and or routinely disregards the complaints of tenants they would consider "less than and or persons who do not seem to hold power" The representative of this management group who I was in contact with when I faced continuous struggles with plumbing was frequently condescending and pompous. I lived in a unit where I was not able to flush the toilet for days at a time. This put me in an constant state of stress for months at a time. One would hope that when faced with a unsuitable living experience your management company could show grace, empathy and or a professional level of decorum- but alas these are not traits you will see from this group.

If I could give zero stars to this management company I would. My friends have been without electricity for 2-3 days, the only option they offered was for them to stay in a model apartment where if anything happened in that apartment they could be liable. They have two small children that were affected by this as well. This is absolutely ridiculous and heartbreaking that they do not care about there tenants. Do not rent from here!

They just paint over the mold and don't care about their tenant's health
