Cedar Village Apartments, east-lansing-mi

Not going to lie, this is probably the worst apartment I've ever lived in. The management is genuinely terrible. I will say the staff is very nice but whoever manages this property does not care about this complex. They are horrific with managing maintenance requests. It was 15F outside and the heating in my apartment was out for an entire week. Every couple of weeks something happens to our apartment. Either the dish washer breaks, the microwave or some other issue occurs. When we moved in to the apartment was genuinely filthy. There was grease in the oven, the cabinets have sticky residue on it, and there were literal nails in the mattress. They also charge you close to 90 dollars for WIFI and it doesn't even work. I'm using my own data 75% of the time. I just tried loading my email and that couldn't even run on its own I've lived in 2 other apartments in the East Lansing area and I can confidently say Cedar Village doesn't even come close to the other two.

Just moved out and it was a great apartment. Ran into an issue with my fridge and the office staff and maintenance were super quick with figuring out what was wrong and fixing it when I moved in. Had a great time and felt that the community was super safe. Thanks DTN for making my stay at the apartment super transparent and being so responsive

We had a great experience touring apartments at Cedar Village thanks to Aiden Rao. He was super helpful, friendly, and patient while showing me and my two friends multiple units. He answered all our questions clearly and made the whole process easy and stress-free. We really appreciated how honest and knowledgeable he was about the apartments and the area. Highly recommend getting a tour with him if you’re looking at Cedar Village.

Worked with Ryan for 2 apartment tours and he was great! Always on time, sent reminders before each visit, and was patient with all my questions. Ryan is nice to work with. Would recommend him!
